Xbox one game chat
How does in game chat work? I keep trying to talk to people but all I can figure out is party chat. Which would be cool but embarrassingly I have no friends to invite to a party?

2 RepliesYou have to be in a fireteam for chat to work, at least for now. Bungie has stated they are working on more open chat. Likely they are concerned about people who are abusive in cha if it is full open world (rightfully so).
