Halo CE vs Destiny
At this moment with Destiny being a new IP Halo is by far the better franchise. But I had a lot of people bash me because I say Destiny is in fact better than the first Halo. And it's just a matter of fact Halo CE it's like 15 years old. Was an amazing game that lasted 7.5 to 10 hours. The story had a major cliffhanger so you really never got an end just like destiny. And to top it off all you had left to do after you beat the game was either beat it on extremely hard or drag the consoles to your buddies house to have LAN parties. Now I paid 50$ for Halo CE an I paid 60$ FOR Destiny grinding or not there's a ton more to Destiny. So I'm extremely optimistic for the future of destiny since Halo only got 100 times better. 1...2...3 unleash the the haters.

2 RepliesI don't know if I'd describe it as a major cliffhanger, but I get what you're saying and completely agree. CE by absolutely no means resolved the story in Halo and left a whole lot of information to be filled in later on...actually pretty much everything we ever learned in the story was left to be filled in later on...and CE wasn't even planned as the start of a whole entire series and saga like Destiny was. I honestly don't see any logical reason to be complaining about the story in Destiny since it's supposed to just be the foundation of a new series that Bungie has said they have planned out for 10 years of story-telling (I'm sure that's probably exaggerated to at least some extent, but people should get the point). And honestly, to expect to get all of the answers to every single question right away is just downright foolish to begin with, no game does that, there's always [i]something[/i] that's either left unresolved or that's not explained completely no matter what the series is.
