And yet valve can't count to three
-
It is so sad that 343 can only use someone else's creation in order to be successful.
-
I made this thread before. I turned into a nostalgia and Halo info thread.

Edited by Neckbeard Fedora: 10/22/2014 7:27:14 PMUpdated for Halo Fest 2014 and Iron Banner.
-
Bungie - Staten - Marty = pure shit
-
You could have just said that Bungie has DeeJ and left it at that.
-
Will never buy a game made by bungie ever again.
-
Destiny did make me appreciate 343i
-
That DeeJ one made me laugh.
-
MCC isn't fan service, it's easy money. When 343 actually bring something new/original and awesome to Halo then I will reconsider their reputation. Until then they are a company designed to ride the idea of someone else to make money, and look at Halo 4; it was a mess. 343 isn't a company that was established to create art, it was manufactured to make money. At least with Destiny we can see Bungie tried something new. Halo is old news.
-
Can't argue with that.
-
343 is composed of ex Bungie employees isn't it?
-
I agree with all of that, but to be fair, Bungie.net is still one of the best community sites in gaming, even with the lackluster community manager. Halo Waypoint is still a total useless shithole. There would be zero Halo discussion here if Gaypoint was a viable place for Halo discussion. The sad thing is that it's such an easy fix, but nobody at 343i has the balls to apply it by throwing out the mod bureaucracy currently in place there, reformatting the rules and resetting the bans, and finally, adding an off-topic forum. 343i is good (so it seems for now), Waypoint is shit; Bungie is shit, Bungie.net is good.

Edited by Legend To None: 9/30/2014 6:59:21 PMSo your saying the key people who made Halo from Bungie are also being funded under Microsoft and don't have much worry about publishing and making payments. Then using the same strategy as Bungie when Bungie had Halo, and is doing better then what they were with Bungie? 343=7^3. 343 has been doing it for 4 years cause they have to. Bungie has been doing it for more than 10 years... Not to mention Bungie didn't lie to anyone, but the "community" lied to each other. Don't think you would count those angry Desticles with high expectations the Community of Bungie.

343: Halo 4
-
Lolz. The DLC for Destiny isn't on the disc. That stuff is placeholder. The DLC isn't even done yet. I don't see why a lot of people dislike DeeJ to the point where he's considered a detriment.
-
No. 343i sucks ass for Halo. We will always love you, Bungie.
-
343i just has like 4 years, Bungie 11... Can't compare there.
-
Never played a Halo game, came with the wave of PS people for Destiny. Am I missing out on something?
-
I just can't resist this. You are either a good troll or just....silly. Bungie has weekly articles about the game, with fan art, creations, and more. Bungie supports lore and releases media outside of the game This is the first Destiny game, but they've already had a few patches to address mistakes. And its funny, because everyone I've talked to outside of the forums thinks MCC is just a hilarious money grab. Full price for doing almost no work, other than making a few cut scenes and porting an older game to a newer system. But hey, I know I know. *I* am the fanboy here. There is no way you are a Halo/343 one. inb4 you ignore everything I said because my forum join date isn't good enough. That seems to be the standard operating procedure when you people run up against anyone that offers a differing opinion that you can not fight back against.
-
I concur.
-
You are -blam!-ing crazy bro.
-
-Recognizes mistakes with last game -Releases MCC: fan service
- Releases a piece of glorified fan fiction - Drops master chief collection containing 3/4 actual halo story to make themselves look better. Fixed that for you.

Lol, what? 343i released the TU, Halo 4, and Halo CEA. They're 0-3. How is that a good track record? Wait, you don't care, you just want attention in the cheapest way possible. PS. Halo 2A has grenade indicators, (even) high(er) aim assist, and loadouts. That's a definite step toward a pure arena shooter, right? And the sounds still sound, well, awful. That's not to say (current) Bungie is any better, but don't act like either of them are better than the other. PPS: How did they manage to -blam!- up Reach's TU? All they needed to do was make spamming less reliable and nerf armor lock!

You forgot how they gutted their story so much that it caused Staten to leave the company.
