A few things I want to get of my heart.

Heyo out there! First of all please excuse my poor english. The following list contains all things that made me a little upset in Destiny. Of course not everyone will agree and if I did something wrong please correct me. 1) Hunter's Arcbolt Grenade Either I'm doing something wrong or this grenade is just entirely useless. It's supposed to scan the area when hitting the ground and then hit up to 3 enemies with an arc-chain within it's scan-range. I wear a Lucky Raspberry (exotic chest armor) which gives me a bonus on the arc length - but the grenade still doesn't hit a damn fly. What is the aim of making a grenade which can be dodged by dumb enemies? When they see the grenade they go to ground and won't get hit? Seriously? It wasn't the first time when I threw this grenade into a bunch of enemies and it killed one or nothing. Is Bladedancer the only class without a useful grenade? Please fix that it's pretty annoying in PVE. 2) Heroic Strike/Nightfall Strike Matchmaking There is a matchmaking system for normal strikes but not for the heroic ones? The most painful strike modes don't have a matchmaking system? Can anyone explain me why? Ok, yes some may argue "but this should be challenging and force you to get your own fireteam up" - but seriously those strikes are hard enough. Why not implementing matchmaking as an optional? Let the people choose if they want to go in with company or alone. Yea why not allowing me to go into a normal strike alone? That would be challenging and fun to see the result. I once did the earth strike completely alone because my net was having terrible issues and the matchmaking system just refused to find anyone. Why not making this a standard? Selectable matchmaking system, that's what I ask for. 3) Decoding legendary engrams Just recently I've been reward with a legendary engram by doing a strike. I was totally happy and was looking forward to decode it and maybe see a super useful item. What did I get? A damn lvl 16 green helmet. Seriously? I'm lvl 27 and get a lvl 16 green helmet from a legendary engram? Till now I've found about 20 legendary engrams and only got 3 legendary items out of them - all for titan class (I'm playing hunter). Make decoded engrams scale with the player level. Increase the chance of getting something useful. I'm not saying make it easier to get legendary engrams but at least make them worth having. 4) Maximum level So you decided to set the maximum level to 20. Any reason why? I see no real reason why letting a game end after 20 levels because let's be honest, anything you can do past level 20 is upgrading your equipment. Is that the aim? Why not setting the max level to let's say 50 and increase it with DLCs which offer new story missions and stuff as you announced. In the first week after release I've seen more lvl 20+ than any other. This couldn't be your goal seriously. You wanted to let this game run for the next 10 years but players already hit the maximum after week two. 5) Story missions Referring to point 4), if you would have risen the maximum level the planets wouldn't be so boring I guess. I can remember when I first got on Venus and was totally excited. 3 Missions later I was able to go to Mars. Why? Include more story missions and fully let players dive into a planet's environment. It would also be awesome if the story missions had a bit more content and background. I honestly couldn't feel much from the actual story and also having a lot of open questions which weren't even touched. Are all guardians former dead people which got awaken by a ghost? Who is living in the city? Why don't you let us go there? What happened to other territories than russia? What exactly is the traveller? Is it a machine or just some mystical godlike ball which almost crashed into the earth and would have entirely destroyed life on earth? 6) Game content Please Bungie listen to those countless topics about the content. I got nothing to do at lvl 27 anymore. All I do is daily bounties and trying to upgrade my items. That can't be the goal. This can't be the end. Doing PVP matches and farming lvl 2 enemies for bounties can't be the mission of a lvl 27 guardian. Why not letting players level e.g. their ghosts up, or their sparrows. I've spent more than 2 years on a MMORPG (won't mention name) and still couldn't reach the maximum or do all the goals. And that game came out in 2002. We're in 2014 now. I know games don't live that long anymore but why announcing a 10 year lasting game and not having enough content to at least keep players for at least a few months? 7) Emblem preview Please add a preview mode of shaders and engrams. I don't want to waste lots of glimmer on emblems without even knowing how they will look like. 8) Bounty slots Increase the maximum bounty slots or separate the exotic bounties from the regular ones. I got 2 running exotic bounties and have to go to tower like every 15 min after completing a bounty. That's annoying. I already skipped an exotic bounty for the space. 9) Reward System Yesterday I tried my first raid. Not only it took me over 3h to get the final boss (yea some players might laugh at this point) but I didn't get any remarkable item from the enemies. All cool stuff I got were from the reward chests. Why not rewarding players for killing high-level enemies? I did some earth patrols for the daily bounty and got a legendary engram and like 5 blue and 9 green engrams. From level 2 enemies. Please fix that it's really depressing for high-level players. 10) Ships Wouldn't it be awesome if ships have an actual effect rather than just being a design element? Why don't you grant players a bonus when having a certain ship? Why don't you let us color and design our own ships? Just adding shaders for ships (and sparrows) would make it a lot more fun. 11) Traveling Why does it take ages to fly to the tower? Ok traveling to a planet takes some time and I totally understand the long loading animation but the tower? It's not a big map and hasn't a lot going on there. 12) Fireteam size 3 Players for a fireteam can be fun but why only 3? Why can't I go with 6 players on a strike? The enemy strength can easily be upscaled so this wouldn't be the reason. I'd really appreciate your opinions and views on these points. Please don't hesitate to correct me on anything wrong.   • Good points and i feel the same way. The only thing i might help with is your questions on the story. Not knowing what happend.. Thats the intent, thats why when you start, your little light says you have been dead a while and probably have a lot of questions. We are put half way into the story and are going to slowly get the story told to us and Discover it, thats why a lot of missions is about collectief lost data and stuff.. Maybe i am wrong, but thats what i think they are doing.
