SUROS REGIME
Hey Bungieee just hoping you're working on nerfing that gun. It's basically an hmg that you can use for your primary. And Xur sold it so everyone has it, it's make'n me crazy ova' here! The autorifles in general are ova' powa'd!!!! Shooting way far and getting kills with an automatic weapon is rediculous. The other 2 rifles blow haha pulse and scouts have no point if autos are effective at the same range. So seriously ya' gotta nerf Suros Regime for me I can't get a 4.0 kd anymore help a brother out.
Anyone else have the same problem or is everyone just using it? Thanks hummies

I have one and I use it, and it is frankly way to good. I literally never loose a gun fight. I recently picked up the crucible pulse rife (Strange Suspect) and comparing the two was night and day. I understand one is a exotic and the other is a legendary, but I can kill someone in about half the time with Suros Regime. Plus it is extremely easy to aim, with zero recoil. Enjoy it while it last, I can see a big nerf coming to this weapon.

AR's in general are getting range reduced. IMO that is the biggest problem with them. You want to be effective at mid range? Use a Pulse Rifle or a Hand Cannon. Long Range? Use a Scout Rifle. AR's belong in the close ranges and should be out classed outside of that range. Combined with the much needed range reduction to shotguns the AR should be right at home in the new meta as an assault weapon that will chew up the enemy's that want to shotgun rush you into bits of meat. I am however concerned that the buff to Scout Rifle combined with the nerfs to Shotgun and Auto Rifles will create a problem for Hand Cannons. A bit off topic, so I'll just say don't fret about SUROS Regime. It's going to get what's coming to it in due time along with the rest of the Auto Rifles. The exotic that should be getting some looking at is Pocket Infinity...I feel guilty when I damn near wipe the whole enemy team by the time that fully automatic beast of a Fusion Rifle is done handing out the ass whippings...and then I reload it and it does it again. Then again I don't know how it jives with other special weapon exotics. I feel like everything in Destiny is extremely overpowered, and maybe it's deliberately so.

It's not unbeatable. Therefore it's not broken. If you keep getting killed by this gun change your strat instead of becoming a big meat sack filled with bullets. I've been killed by this gun, I've also killed people who use this gun. It's a wash.

1 ReplyAfter seeing this gun so many times in the crucible lately i feel like i wanne give my 2 cents about its power. People seem to belive that because its exotic that it should be good and clear rooms but i disagree heres why: Right now Auto rifles are somewhat the best choice(Maybe not after patch?) given its strengths are good from short to long range(only very long range it becomes weaker but theres only one map that has that problem...). The suros regime however has a slight advantage with its focus mode giving it even beter advantage in medium to long range. Now heres is the problem, you are giving a gun thats already a strong choice in these catagorys and giving it even better advantage. Give me an example of an primairy gun that has the same strengths and weakneses as this gun has. Because of its strengths there is really no point in taking a exotic Scout rifle(or any other weapon for that matter) because it can basicly serve the same purpose but has none of its weakneses. Now the next patch might nerf auto rifles in the long range catagory but i fear this guns ability compensates for it making it still the best choice in PVP.

lol, the shingen-e does better at dropping people that Suros after the upgrade. It takes 5 headshots to kill someone in the crucible. Stop complaining.

13 RepliesIt is an EXOTIC WEAPON. It is supposed to be AMAZING. every time someone gets killed a few times with something they want to cry "NERF IT PLZZZ". It is an exotic Pucking weapon you TARD. When someone snipes you from 100 feet with a shutgun, THEN you can cry that it is OP because that is Valid. If they listened to you, we'd be shooting jelly beans instead of bullets in 6 months. WTF do you want? You will not be happy until you are invincible and can never die. If it isnt Arc Blade, its Fireborn, Suros Regime, Vex Fusion ect. Will it ever stop? If Crucible is so unfair quit playing it. Im tired of the constant cries for Nerfing. You are all literally requesting EVERYTHING to be nerfed! Dont believe me, surf the forums. Every peice of good equipment, upgrades or powers in the game is being cried about.

Considering I can out perform scout rifles at max range and do more damage, not to mention out class a heavy machine gun... yeah, pretty broken.

I have it and it has the same stats as my grim citizen legendary AR. Both are great if you're good with an AR but you still have to manage a fair amount of recoil to get those quick headshot kills.

I own people who have Suros Regime with my Vaquisher VIII... It's just stronger than most auto rifles long-range but compared to other auto rifles it's not that much of a difference IMO! Maybe I'm just good... Lol

I have the gun and I lose all the time so part (most?) of its effectiveness has to do with skill. Keep it as is.
