What I'd like to see -- and my Destiny friends seem to agree -- is a way to buy or trade weapons or items. Now, I get that this would make "rare" items less rare because everyone would just be trading with everyone, and it would have to be for not this game, but the 2nd or 3rd or 4th game. Hear me out. Rather than just having people drop items or trade them to other players (a la Borderlands), why not have an auction system that is public for everyone. This does a few things: 1. It gives everyone equal chance. Make the auction run for 48 hours or for 12 hours of no bidding against it. 2. It means that those rare items are still rare and people will have to pay a lot for them. Items, money, materials, whatever. 3. It would be an alternative to farming for items. It's honestly one of the most boring and and annoying things ever. I'm not talking about running a mission over and over, though I wish there was more variety there too, but finding 50 flags (AC), find 60 Relic Irons (Destiny), and similar hunts are annoying. Finding chests or skulls is fun. This is not. Anyway, just my thought.
