Warlock Bond
Can we start a petition to change warlock bonds? Unless you have one that has an effect you can't even notice them very much with the armor. I think we should have a better bond. Look at hunters and titans theirs change their gear noticeably. Ours is an arm band and a few have effects.
I'd like to see something like a magical glow effect off our armor. Like for example one gives off a fire wing glow from your armor so it looks similar to the sunsingers flame wings. Another could be demon wings. Or just like a red eerie essence coming off of them. Add better effects to the old bonds I guess is what I'm saying. Plus it would fit the magic user play style.
Thoughts?

2 RepliesYou get a badass duster... You don't need anything more for the bonds, work towards getting one with an effect you find visual stimulating.

And most are pretty dull. I have a purple/blue flamey one and a few that glow. But they could be made So much cooler, and larger/more noticeable if they took up the whole of the upper arm.. I think an expansion on the theme as opposed to a complete overhaul would be a good way to improve this. (also glowing aura = easy to spot in pvp) some themes id like to see The Devourer - "It is said Lord Garlon tried to travel into the heart of the void, and it consumed him, all they found was his bond still smoldering - let it serve as a reminder to the power of the void" [visual gives off void inspired smoke whisps - leaves a short little trail as you run] Twisted Soul - " Madness can take the best of us, stay true to the light. let it be your guide" [upper arm bond cracked, black, ornate, with a spiral of ember glow twisting up it, with occasional flat beams of light jetting out] "The Flayed Flayer" - "Made from the skin of a Psion Flayer - The bond pulsates with the stolen Arc Energy" [blue glow getting brighter until it bursts into flames in a few places, then dims again] "Pain Becomes Me - We wear the bond of impaling to show we have no fear of pain and our light is strong, let it strike fear into the hearts of enemies and hope into the hearts of allies" [upper arm warlock bond, pierced by an iron spike, with light spilling out from the edges of where it pierces either side of the arm] ...I seem to have too much time on my hands.
