no shards = BS!!!
Why did you just make your big event absolutely POINTLESS! The armor is already comparably weak now we can't use it to power up better armor??? Isn't that the point of being able to disassemble when you get something good but you don't need it?

Totally screwed the queen event, Oct 6th is here already for me. I'm done wasting time on her shit. I'm lv 29 I don't want or need anything she has. No shards = no more queen missions

They ''fix'' stuff no one complains about. Maybe if people want any weapons to be nerfed, they should stop complaining.

There was NOTHING wrong with how hard it STILL was to rank up. Do the math. 1 queens bounty = 2 to 3 shards. 6 shards = 1 or 2 light. 11 light to level. You still had to do a ton of these to rank up. Where was the issue?

If they didn't nerf this I would be 30 by tomorrow. It's cool though. I didn't wanna be maxed out the first month anyway. I love this game and there is absolutely nothing else to play. Just trying to enjoy the ride. No rush.

I have 6 queens missions that I didn't do yesterday that are pointless now, but unlike you I am happy with this patch. The removal of this armor getting shards makes it harder to level up your character. For how easy the queens missions were there shouldn't be such a high reward as 2 or 3 ascendant shards. This patch provides the game with a long, drawn out grind to achieve max rank. Just like the developers wanted in the first place.

2 RepliesBecause not everyone is decked out in all legendary gear. I suppose it was meant for people that don't play as much to gear up but still have to work for the maximum level reward. I think it was a necessary removal

I thought the shards were there on purpose. Bungie just look incompetent at the moment in my eyes and i hope their future release are checked over before being given the green light. At this rate they are going to need a test server.
