Voidfang Vestments and Xur, Agent of the Nine...
Our enigmatic vendor of Exotic weapons and armor will be returning this Friday, I assume. When he does, perhaps I might add another Exotic weapon to my arsenal... but as a Warlock, what I really want is Exotic [i]armor.[/i]
For the past two weeks, Xur has had the same Warlock gear in stock; the Sunbreaker gauntlets, which are of little use to someone who prefers Voidwalker when it comes to playing a Warlock.
I noticed a few players wearing something that might be useful to a Voidwalker; the Voidfang Vestments, which have special perk that enhances the Axion Bolt grenade. Sounds perfect, and it looks awesome. Bungie, can we please see this particular item in Xur's inventory come this Friday? I'd like to get my Warlock something nice.
I also noticed another highly desirable piece of armor that benefits Voidwalkers; the Helm of Dire AhamKara. Looks badass. That would be nice to have as well...

3 RepliesMan, same boat. I ended up getting the sunbreakers as a temporary as it is better armour. I then spent 23 motes of light on the exotic chest because, who knew, maybe? But then I got the sunbreaker's Heart of Praxis Sunbreaker chest piece. I just... I don't know what to feel.

I would actually have to say the helmet obsidian mind is the best piece of gear for a voidwalker. use super. kill 4 enemies.. use super again. throw grenade, kill2 enemies use super.. SO O.P. Now if Xur would sell the upgrade. God Xur sucks

I hope he doesn't have something for void walker that helps with axion bolts. The first reason is that grenade is a second super... The second reason is because I already have an amazing chestpiece that does that on my secondary character, the warlock. The chestpiece spawns a third seeker and you speak with grenade energy, so good.

I really want voidfang vestments but I just don't see the point. The extra bolt is nice for the axion bolt grenade and the grenade at respawn is great for PVP, but not so much for PvE. How much can you really use a grenade when you are doing higher lvl strikes or raids where we have a countdown.? I would even assume that a grenade at respawn would even be unfair for multiplayer. I would have rather seen an extra projectile for our shatter super modifier, or a change to a modifier for our melee attack. For instance the life steal modifier changed from killing the enemy to hitting the enemy granting you life (a minute life gain that of course is not overpowered) In the end ,the abilities for voidfang vestments now feels something sunslinger should have received - an etxtra bolt for the firebolt grenade and an extra grenade at respawn which would have worked well for someone using the fireborn super ability. (adjustments to this ability not being overpowered would need to be addressed somehow) In the end I would really like to get voidfang, just would like to see a change in its ability.

I have that armor and ya that effect sounds great but I tried it with and without wearing it and truthfully it does not make a big difference with that enhancement but I want Heart of Praxis Fire or Skull of dire ahamkara
