A thought on the infamous loot cave
As I was reading through all of the posts going both directions concerning the, now infamous, loot cave, a thought struck me. You can grind vanguard/faction rep through patrols and crucible/faction rep through matches, but there's no real way to grind cryptarch rep. What if the loot cave, and the other farming areas like it, are left in place, or perhaps even designed, to provide the missing rep grind?

The way i look at it, the whole game is a grind, so surely its ok to use the cave as it just saves running about for ages with 10 mins of nothing between spawn spots. I havent got alot from tho but i havent spent hours there just the odd 30mins a cpl of times. Plus its probably the most social place in the game since everyone is normally there.
