Damage types and their uses
This link will explain the symbol that shows up next to weapons. The different colors show what color shield they effect the most (Vex-purple, Fallen-blue, Hive-red). We should all have 3 of these types of weapons in our inventory by the time we get our raiding group together so we're able to maximize our damage output towards whatever we're going against.

actually speaking of this everyone planning to run VoG should start making sure they have at least one maxxed out lvl 20 blue or purple damage type weapon. Lot of mobs are shielded and with a variety of shields. To make the raids easier and in some cases even possible we have to able to take down those shields very fast.

Yeah I have void and solar dmg covered. Arc is a pain for me. I did get an arc machine gun tho. So it's a start.

damn good idea. too bad i've been disassembling all my weapons for those much needed mats.
