I think it would be better if assault rifles were nerfed and hand cannons were buffed because you can't even match dps unless you get head shots which is impossible while your eating bullets and your gun is kicking like a -blam!-ing horse. At the very least 2 head shots with a hand cannon should be lethal. Auto rifles should kick way more and burst rifles should kick way less. Or have more dramatic range penalties.
