Hacker Group 'Lizard Squad' Claims To Have Taken Down 'Destiny' and 'Call of Duty'
Hacker group “Lizard Squad” has taken credit for another high-profile DDOS attack in the gaming realm, tacking credit over twitter for attacks that took down both the Destiny and Call of Duty servers over the weekend. Lizard squad recently took credit for attacks that took down the Playstation Network and World of Blizzard’s Battle.net, as well as a bomb threat that caused Sony Online Entertainment John Smedley’s plane to be diverted. At the time of the Playstation attack, Lizard Squad said that they were angry with Sony for charging money for Playstation Plus but not using that revenue to improve online services
