This weekend, Xur didn't have anything I wanted, so I thought I'd do some bounties and stuff in anticipation for next week. Here is where my luck started, between the moon and mars, i got a couple legendary engrams, one turned out to be Hawkmoon, an exotic handcannon, a real beauty. I thought wow, that's a first and I actually use handcannons so I feel pretty fortunate. I decided to do the Dust Palace strike, since I've never done it before. Did the regular run. One of the cabal legionaries dropped a legendary chest engram that decoded to Crest of the Alpha Lupi. I'm like whoa, I'm the luckiest man alive, I should buy a lottery ticket. So, still on a high, I go to the crucible to knock off some bounties. Chose rumble because the matches are pretty short and I don't have 8 days to waste trying to finish a match on Bastion. After a few matches, shores of time came up on the map list. Now I'm used to losing rumble, i thought it was an inevitability because I'm pretty average. But I, for reasons I can't understand, brought my A game. I finished not only first but got a medal "Alone at the top", no idea what that means, i should probably look it up. But then the post game kill feed said "Pav696 found Ghallajorn" in yellow. I was like.. what? :/ and sure enough there it was. This has got to be my best weekend run in gaming ever.... EVER.
