If they didn't hype up every single "event" I don't think anyone could be disappointed. How awesome it would be if you started playing like normal and the tower was opened up more, or the Queen suddenly appeared and you knew nothing about it beforehand?? Hyping up every event gets everyone's expectations up. Presumably to be let down.
