10 days later, 100+ hours played, 10 things to change. Please consider the feedback Bungie

I play on PS4, finished the story, all strikes, the raid, public events, bounties, dailies, PvP with 1.87 KDR, etc. I think I've played Destiny enough to say with some authority what needs improvement. So, here: 1. Add a map vote to skip option in PvP with an actual lobby. Right now some people leave the moment a certain map loads. Halo 3 onwards had this, so does CoD. Map skipping was a feature no one complained about. 2. Add voice chat in PvP. I know Bungie already is aware of this feedback, so I'll say no more. 3. Private lobbies in PvP would be nice. 4. Item trading. All due respect bungie, you're marketting attempt at justifying no trading is probably only worsted by Microsoft's attempt at justifying the mandatory kinect with X1. Your attempt, as Gamespot reported, is that you want us to 'be able to tell a story about every item we've received'..... yeah, ok. I don't think any of your players buy this. 5. Loot. Again, Bungie, you've heard this complaint a lot. Engrams dropping based on player level and not enemy level make no sense. People going 0.35 kdr in PvP getting legendaries makes no sense. Make higher level loot drop with higher level challenges. [b]Reward performance.[/b] It says a lot about your loot system if people are willing to spend hours at a cave shooting. That wouldn't happen if you'd make *some* of your strikes useful. Modifiers should increase loot as well. Nightfall should be rewarding. 6. The Atheon bug. We beat it, got the trophy, but we had to return to orbit manually. 7. Glimmer + endgame = sad reality. Offer some high end options. If you want, increase the cap to 50K and allow for something like 40K = 1 purple engram. If anything add a daily cooldown to it. How about 10K = 20 iron / bloom / helium / metal ? How about 25K = an item that betters your engram decryption chances for 60 seconds? Anything to make glimmer meaningful. 35K = ascendant material? Anything? 8. Let us skip cutscenes. 9. Stop giving us bounties which cannot be completed. Why was salvage there this week when it wasn't playable since last Sunday? 10. Give us the option to auto dismantle engrams by color. Personally I'd auto dismantle all blues and greens, but certainly every 25+ would want to auto dismantle every green. This would save time and save the frustration that would come from accidentally dismantling the wrong item while we are on a dismantle spree.

  • How about we combine 4 and 8 and make it to where you put the item up for sale in a marketplace area, and people use Glimmer to purchase these in game. If the game itself determines the price we can avoid any "money farmers" that would use Destiny to make money. Of course I think my idea could use a little adjustment, but I would like to think that I am on the right track.

  • Holy cow #5. There is NO incentive to perform well in the Crucible. It does not matter if I have a K/D of 5.0 or .05 it does not change the type of gear/mats or the quantity of gear/mats that I recieve. What is the point?! Bungie, forgive me for telling you how it should be, but the Crucible is not about being fair, it is not about being random. It is about playing your best in order to gear up and progress further. There should be no need to try and cater to players that are not able to pull their own weight. Sure, a random drop occaisionally for the bottom couple players is ok. But you need to consistenly reward the top players for the performance. Why do you think people were so excited for the Halo 2 ranking system for PVP in the Master Chief collection? Because you level based on skill, not participation. The gear drop system in the Crucilble is looking like just that. It is simple a random door prize on your way out, it is not a reward for your performance. Maybe it was never your goal to reward players that have honed thier skills or have spent hours learning how to play, and that is unfortunate. Take the advice from a ten year MMO and Shooter player, you MUST reward performance. Whether it is WoW or CoD you need to acknowledge and incentivise the people leading the pack. If you do not then the game will start to feel hollow and will drop in popularity. Why should I even participate in the match? I have the same odds getting a legendary shooting into the sky the whole game as I do leading the whole match. Players play PVP and PVE for recognition, respect and for loots. Everyone wants to be the best or to have the best gear between them and thier friends, that is why many people play. I would play twice as much if I knew my play would earn me the gear I am working towards or the mats I need. Why on Earth is it better for me to shoot at a cave then to play the actual mechanics of a game? Please do something about this... It is driving me and my group of friends crazy.

  • +1 for everything except for trading. Only because better gear raises your light level. Stats and leaderboards for crucible would be nice as well so it feels like im actually working towards something.

I don't think any of your players buy this. -- Nope, this will encourage a 3rd party/external gold/item economy to emerge. WoW and other MMOs were ruined by people buying characters. I propose we add a "Give to Fireteam Member" in the post match carnage/post match missions screens. Otherwise no. 5. Loot. Again, Bungie, you've heard this complaint a lot. Give us the option to auto dismantle engrams by color. Personally I'd auto dismantle all blues and greens, but certainly every 25+ would want to auto dismantle every green.   • If say yes to all,apart from item trading, having that would make people lazy! You want Somthing ? Go earn it, that's what the game is for you play to unlock not to just sit at the hub getting Easy gear from mates ect.

  • There is no reason there should not be trading.. There loot system is do dumb, so it would only make sense. They should take a couple notes off BL2, because that had the best loot system out of any game ever made.

  • Bungie was quoted in saying they want you to earn everything instead of trading. And you can get engram's through leveling up the cryptarch so its better to not dismantle an engram. But I liked you other points

    • I can agree with everything, although a trade system worries me. Maybe you can trade everything but exotics? Or you can't trade anything that's been used and gained any experience. The system would have to be really thought out to avoid bad things from happening with it. Trade systems tend to ruin games imo. That aside I agree with everything, and would like to add one thing. 11) Add a world map that's accessible via your ghost menu. You already have a few options, return to orbit, summon sparrow, just add another one for view map. It's really kind of annoying that with all the technology we have in this future time no one know how to map a bloody map? Really?

Love all of these accept this one. People could just farm or buy legendary items from taskmaster for free and trade them off. Every one should have a tale they can tell for each item. The strive and work toward the goal.

      • Honestly the one thing that really annoys me more then anything is the darn aim assist, I wish I could turn it off because, see im really really really bad with Gamepads, so i use Mouse and keyboard adapter (CronusMAX) for Destiny and the Aim assist is like so insanely awesome and well made that it took me a good three hours to write a Notepad script that could counter the aim assist with my mouse and its still preety bad, feels like there is a delay and super low sensitivity all at once if i don't ramp up the mouse to like 7000 Dpi. -.- (This is not really an issue or anything i know, its really very bland in the sense that not many other people do this so..yeah lol. soz for making a kind of irrelevant comment)

      • Well written, but I disagree with 4. As gear = level in this game, I want people to earn their level by the same grinding as everyone else. You can trade between your own characters, effectively making all your future characters skipping levels 20-24ish completely. I think this was a good choice from their side. I wouldn't mind of there was an option for 10, but I would not use it. Greens can turn into blues (=better materials) and blues can turn into Motes of Light, Legendaries (again better materials when dismantling) etc. I think this is only issue for cave farmers that have too many greens.

      • One thing I noticed is the auto-aim is a bit too aggressive. Tone it down a touch so enemies strafing in front of one another don't move your reticle away from your target without player input and it'll be a bit less aggravating to go for precision shots into groups of enemies.

      • Voice chat in PvP I think should be defaulted to off because it's rated teen and if they add this feature not many will be aware of it since it's mid game. Also, fire team settings should not reset after you log off. Randomizing loot for PvP is fairer than top of the team. Otherwise people just rank then top their team, etc etc. Instead some sort of guaranteed mote of light type thing would be good for them. There are already crucible bounties that are easily done by good players.
