How i fixed error codes

Recently i was having the error codes couple times a hour, then i deployed a fix that seems to have fixed it: Taken from bungie.net: "Destiny is a shared-world shooter that requires a correctly configured and steady internet connection. To avoid losing connection to Destiny, you may need to tweak your home networking setup." "Bee can be caused by general disconnections between you and the various routes your traffic takes across the internet to get to Bungie. This includes packet loss or disconnections between your home network and Bungie. It can even be caused by certain WiFi setups. Finally, disconnects of this type can be caused by Destiny losing bandwidth to other devices and applications. It may be necessary to avoid file-sharing, video streaming or other bandwidth intensive tasks on any device connected to your network while playing Destiny.  This can even include multitasking on your console." Any unstable connection may deploy the "bee" error. And a unstable connection has mainly 3 reasons: 1) wireless connections: DONT use it. Use WIRED connection. 2)Unstable ISP: thats when your speed changes a lot, in my case i got a 30/2 mbps connection, but download ranges between 21-30 mbps and upload between 1.4-2mbps. 3)Unstable internal network: happens when you got multiple devices connected to the router, and some are running games/streams other than you. Okay.. So lets deploy the fixes: 1) Use a WIRED connection 2/3) Here comes the real fix: your main objective is to make your console get a constant speed. How? Firstly fix an IP for your console. Secondly, enable bandwitch control in your router. http://imgur.com/bwhsnNk The secret is to assign a value LOWER than the lower value your ISP connection ranges(30/2 to 21/1.4 in my case, so i used 18/1 set up. You got to assign the same value as maximum and minimum so the speed will be constant. IF the speed delivered from your ISP gets lowers than the one you set up, you will drop INTANTLY, because you wont have the minimum speed requested, so lower values = lower chance of error. IF your ISP is constant and delivers what it should, your only problem is the multiple devices in the internal network, so assigning bandwitch control will already fix it, assigning 60% of the bandwitch will make it so the console gets always 60% of the bandwitch, no matter you are alone in the network or with 20 more devices.

  • I figured out a solution, too. If there's no feedback or mention of fixing the disconnect errors for players within a month of the release, I find something else to do and just stop playing.
