Farming: Why So Mad?

I feel there are way to many butthurt chumps on this game that b**** about everything from the loot cave to chest runs. Seriously, who cares? I personally mix bounties, dailies/Weekly's, Strike's, chest runs, and farming (even in the loot cave when I start getting tired), and find that it just increases your speed of picking up that gear you need to max out at 30, get those grimoires for double resources, and even kill some time with a good chance of obtaining gear while you're at it. I get there are people who JUST sit at the loot cave and farm for they're gear, but who cares? They're letting luck decide all there gear drops and how fast they level will depend on that. Mix it up, you will be grabbing legendary/exotic gear at a very fast pace while doing things other than just sitting by a rock with a scout/pulse/auto rifle. I'd like to know the rest of the community's opinion on this.
Do you feel like it's unfair to the rest of the Destiny community? Is it something that drastically needs to be changed? Or should we just let it be?
Let's try to keep this civil as possible as well. Please refrain from bashing other people on the thread. Thank you!

I guess it's a matter of opinion, so people like to farm quick gear some people like to work for it. Then we have the issue, what is actually fair?. I personally like to fight for my stuff (doing daily's/crucible/strikes (no raid yet since my buddies are too low), every once in a while chest runs while doing patrols). Now i have never done the cave farming and in my opinion it's very lame, some people getting way more items and better loot farming some low level mobs over and over. Sure it does take time, but it does not take skill and in my opinion skill should be rewarded.. every person can kill low level mobs for hours on end but not everyone can blaze through strikes or raid(s) with teamwork and skill to get their good weapons and armor. In my opinion the loot system should be like this: level 1 -14 drop white-greens and sometimes blues, level 15 -19 drop green-blues vare rarely purple, level 20 and up drop: green, blues, a 10% more chance of dropping a purple and have the ability to drop an exotic (very slim chance). Also increasing the difficulty on strikes increases the drop CHANCE of legendary and exotic loot (in my opinion it would be lame if you ALWAYS get good loot). Raid bosses should drop a legendary 80-90% of the time.. maybe even 100% (just like in WoW) but still not a 100% chance of dropping exotic... maybe like 20-25% chance. Doing the raid 4 times would statistically assure you from having at least 1 exotic drop (that may or may NOT be for your class same would apply for legendary drops. And also add the chance like 0.02% chance of a low level dropping a legendary/exotic randomly while you are leveling your character of doing patrols, so that way if you keep playing the game you could still be surprised by getting a crazy item while you were grinding for xp or searching for materials. Wouldn't it be awesome?, you are in a party and you or your teammate gets a legendary or exotic drop from a low level mob and because it rarely drops everyone goes cray cray!!. In my opinion it would motivate more people to do strikes on more difficult settings (which would offer better loot and more chance of better loot). Problem is people want to be rewarded 100% after finishing a strike and that would make it lame.. everyone would be walking in full legendary with 2 exotic pieces by the second week (how lame would that be?). Even though i did not get loot it's fun to have to do the strikes and when you finally get something good it feels rewarding. In the end everyone has the right to do as they please as long as their are not cheating but in my opinion i have less respect for cheaters/glitchers and people who abuse game mechanics to turn the odds in their favor to boast about their gear + the fact that in the crucible they whoop your ass with gear that they in my opinion did not deserve for killing such low level mobs.. oh well.. that's my two cents.
