The story isn't even close to being done. The game is great, what sucks is all of you who were expecting a different game and are now butthurt about it. I suppose it's part Bungies fault for advertising it as a game for every one. This is not a game for every one. There are parts of the game people will never play or do 'cause they don't understand these parts or aren't good enough to do it. The game is good, but right now a lot of its community sucks.

I think your problem is you watched a review. Now that his opinions are stuck in your head and maybe your too stupid to accumulate your own? I didn't read any reviews or articles on how good destiny is, I played the Alpha and the Beta, I enjoyed them both so I bought it, I am still enjoying destiny and therefore happy with my purchase, I don't need to rely on other's opinions of a game to tell if it's good or not.

To play Devils Advocate to this ridiculous Bandwangon. Let's look at this from the perspective of the Shareholders. You know, The guys that actually PAY these exorbitant costs of development before sales and they recoup the money the spent. They spend money up front looking to make money. They don't want to lose money. So when someone comes forward and says "I would like a loan to help pay for developing this idea I have into a game." They say "Why should we give you money and will we get it back?" The Developer says, "This game will be a hit and you will make money. You make enough money that you will want to invest in more ideas we have." Fast forward after all the deals and intricacies have been worked out and watch the magic. Game sells well and is good. Shareholders will say "Hey we made money off this idea! What else you got?" Game sells well and is crappy. Shareholders will say ""Hey we made off this idea! What else you got?" Game sells poorly and is crappy. Shareholders will say "We didn't make money. Pay us back and never expect us to finance you again." Game sells poorly but is amazing. Shareholders will say "We didn't make money. Pay us back and never expect us to finance you again." Yes, we the consumer vote with our wallets but it's a double edged sword. When we cost shareholders money by not buying them, they turn to marketing who compiles their research and goes "Well clearly this IP is a dud. Recommend you spend money somewhere else." If we did not support Destiny, we kill any chance of new IP's, universes, and stories to be created. While backing "critically acclaimed" games like COD, Battlefield, Sims, and various other franchises that are clearly starting to show their age, we tell marketing "This is the goldmine! Keep pumping until the well is dry and there's nothing left!" And they do to where the games clearly have nothing more to give but people keep showing their true colors anyway. Is Joe right that we shouldn't settle for this "half baked" storytelling? Yes. We shouldn't. We should ALSO keep in mind that our voting with our wallets is a double edged sword. By denying a new IP a chance to grow and experiment... THAT is the TRUE death of gaming.

I know. People having fun playing games they enjoy will kill gaming for sure! Cause, like there aren't a bajillion devleopers out there making all sorts of games for all sorts of audiences for all sorts of devices. So people who are enjoying playing destiny, you should stop because somehow, someway - I am not sure how - you are ruining it for all the people that aren't playing Destiny or don't like Destiny. Your having fun is an insult to them. All those millions of people playing all those different games on all those different platforms deserve better from you than to be insulted. So stop having fun and make sure you only play games with stories or whatever it is that people are complaining about this week. Games that will also be banned - Chess - one mode, zero customisation, zero story. Scrabble - one mode, limited customization, and stories is confusing to say the least. Backgammon - because it is wierd and I don't like it. Yahtzee - cause the rng is like way too r.

you cant base your experience entirely on story but story and replay destiny is full of replay and its an mmo so let bungie do its thing im sure there is more story to come STOP WHINING DOOMSDAYERS
