Gamers play a game by Bungie Inc. at the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo, known as E3, in Los Angeles, California, June 10, 2014.
"Instead of targeting specific community leaders or luminaries to step up and try to cave in our helmets, we're randomizing the event. To put it a different way, we're putting a bounty on our own heads," community manager David "Deej" Dague said at the 'Destiny' blog.
What this means is that every week, one Bungie team will go into Crucible, and they will be inviting players to hunt them down. The lucky players who will be able to beat them will earn a special emblem, which is only given to those who can beat Bungie at their own game (quite literally).
Four names have been given already, which will need to be marked as the Bungie team, namely imtylerdurden (senior designer Josh Hamrick), CE_Wizard (designer Jon Weisnewski), Thug Larz (design lead Lars Bakken) and DeeJ BNG (Deej) Those who win will need to post a link of the victory in the comments section of the blog post. Otherwise, the developers will not reward your hard work.
