Are there Black Shaders?
Are there black shaders or a black color palette shader in the game?
I focused on Dead Orbit because the armor looked black. Then I put it on and it doesn't look the way it did in the purchase menu. It's just white and grey. This is a common, albeit tiny issue, where the item doesn't actually look the same once it's on, and usually doesn't look as cool.
Anyway, all I want is to deck my guy out in black, but the color choices are quite limited at this time and most I've found are ugly and you can't actually customize the colors for some odd reason - like you can't choose the color of your arms, visors, gauntlets etc. Really gets in the way of having that complete customizable feel, which is seemingly what they were going for. Wanted to know if anyone else found a cool dark or black-centric shader.
Currently at level 24 and enjoying the grind. Let me know. Thanks.

There is a legendary shader called "Superblack", but i really dont know how to get it. Take a look at this: [url]http://db.destinytracker.com/character[/url] Put in your Gamertag and you can preview all available shaders on your char. :)

I don't have the link anymore but there are a lot of shades I have yet to see in game. Never fear, there is a nearly solid black shader but it is classified as a rare I believe.

I believe that there is a black/silver or steel colored shader. But, yes if you do have full dead orbit you are partially black

Thanks everyone. It's encouraging to know it's out there. If you see a long, black haired Hunter with dark eyes , decked out in black gear someday, very well may be me. :)

If you preorder Advanced Warfare, you get a black and yellow shader called "Blacksmith."
