for all the "Farmers" at the cave in skywatch.
i personally dont care if other people do it but deep down you all know it is an exploit. the fact that all these people are trying to justify it as the way the game should be played is what frustrates me. i am 98% certain that the during the design phase of this game the devs were not thinking "hey wouldnt it be cool if there was a cave where all the players could go to endlesly spawn kill hive to farm for loot thats supposed to take them days to aquire in an hour or so and completely negate all the other stuff we are throwing into game for them to enjoy? "
edit: this just in! looks like they nerfed the spawn rate of that cave!! guess all you guys in the comments who said if it was an exploit it would be fixed just got proven right!

However after 10 minutes I was bored stupid and was just about to get back to regular killing when all of a sudden above my ammo hud a message came up saying about a clash. Before I knew it there were around 50 enemies filling the whole area basically facing off with each other and me in the middle with my pants down shooting at a black cave. What proceeded was a full on war which was far more exciting to be involved in. It's things like that that keep me playing and as for exploits, you can forget them. I'm happy running around building up slowly. My only concern now is, will there be more of these full scale wars or other random events happening to keep us on our toes? Over to you Bungie.

3 RepliesYeah yeah the cave "exploit" has been taken care of now we can deal with a real exploit like boosting. Boosting is becoming more and more of a problem. Not many have even talked about this. So now that the whole cave thing is done even one can just get the blam over it and deal with real problems in the game.

If bungie had an issue with it or found it to be an exploit then they would fix it. Let's try not to be focused on what others are doing. If you don't choose to farm the cave then don't that's fine and if you do that's fine too. That's the great thing about games, you can play them how you want. I remember Ice hockey on the nes, if you did a wrap around shot the goalie couldn't defend it but I still used it because scoring is fun. Same rules apply, I enjoy getting loot and so does everyone else and it shouldn't matter how I do that. I don't know call me old school, maybe it's because when I was a kid if you told on someone you got in just as much trouble but let people make their own decisions, or at least quietly cry to yourself about how it's not fair because your opinions won't change what others choose to do. 1 ReplyWhy is this even an issue? You can do this literally anywhere in the game. Ishtar Courtyard on Venus, places near the starting area on the moon, the Buried City area on Mars. This is just a highly efficient spot to do it in that is all. If people want to play the game this way then let them. It's not hurting anyone. It just seems to me a fair amount of people need something to bitch about.

You know other people caught you, and you don't even have the decency to admit that you have farmed the cave. Hell, you could even say "yes I did it once and I realized from that that it was an exploit" but no, you are just going to keep denying the massive evidence against you.
