Me and my friends often get better stuff then one another, but if destiny is sort of like an mmo, why isnt there a trade system? It would be nice.

Edited by Pee Bus: 9/20/2014 8:17:48 PMThey are working on it. They just need to make sure there is no way to use it to duplicate and stuff. Unfortunately they might not add it if they can't find a way to make it so you can't get free stuff and such.

This is a horrible idea, I'm sorry

Agreed! Maybe like a third party transfer, I leave an item with a bot and someone can buy it from the bot.

Yeah I agree for gear I cant tell you how many times me or my friends have gotten legendary gear for eachothers classes and have no use other than wait to level up another character later on.

Go away. Earn it like your mom did
-
No. You have to EARN it.

I imagine there is no trading system because it reduces the likelihood of Real Money Transfers. RMT Bots plague other MMOs with trading systems because people are trying to scam you, make money, or hack your account. With Destiny lacking an actual trading system, this eliminates that avenue for scammers, and even if people tried to "power level your account" for money, it's pointless, because your soft cap is 20, and can be achieved in less than 24 hours if you grind right. Also, with a 25k glimmer cap, they can scam you into "buy cheap gold!" offers. I think the system is pretty useful as is.

I was just wondering, do you read the forums?
