Yes, a thiusand times yes. Me andmy wife love this game, but we're looking forward to new borderlands just because of splitscreen. We have ps3 and 4 but play destiny on 4 . We hoped for cross gen play , so we could play together. But now we should buy an extra console just to be in the same team. One of the biggest flaws in the game.

I remember gaming as a sociable thing and you were the cause. going to friends houses playing Halo on split screen and LAN. I am now older and have a family, but still we all enjoy gaming. Not as a solitary pastime, however, sitting in isolation playing with virtual friends with no control over language, but as a fun form of entertainment that my family and friends can join in with. My partner used to play co-op campaigns with me but now there is nothing equivalent on the Xbox One. It seems the only way I can play with others is on my own with a headset. With the ever increasing prices of games, you should be aiming them at the people that can afford them, who may be a little older and still believe in socialising with real friends and families, face to face!! you must know you will lose all of us old school gamers soon unless you give people the option to play split screen co-op - even if it means sacrificing resolution whilst on the split screen option or have separate optional side missions. I brought 4 xbox360s and linked them in different rooms for things like Halo. destiny is one that me and my partner would have happily enjoyed together but have not had the option to do so. Every new release is a disappointment. I know many people who feel the same way and if you were to promote co-op campaigns on all new releases or as an additional add on fee you would be on to a winner all round. Although the suits are trying to kill of this feature they probably have no idea about gaming and have no idea how profitable it is. You could get me to buy more consoles controllers and more copies of your game and there's a cult to follow suit.

Wouldn't work. It's too much, your console can handle one instance of destiny, but split screen means basically running it twice. Which they probably couldn't. Besides it would make the graphics shitty and the ratio is off. It doesn't need local co op at all.

Remove #Gaming from the tags and insert #Destiny. And no, topics about Destiny do not belong in #Gaming even though Destiny is a game, Destiny belongs in #Destiny because Destiny is Destiny.
