Come one Come all, future of weapons.

Hello fellow guardians! Im here to talk a little about melee, and what i'd like to see in the future when it comes to melee. So many of you maybe feel like i do about the Sword of Crota mission. How freakin awesome was it, to just slice hordes of hive with a big-a** sword!? For me it might have been one of the highlights. I love destiny how it is now, but arent we always trying to improve? My suggestion is to add melee weapons to equip, as perhaps instead of heavy weapons or special weapons. Probably the special weapons for balancing purposes. Now hear me out before ranting about how this can destroy the game. First off(general info), melee weapons need to be hard to come by, and should be something of Legendary or exotic rarity. We have already seen that animations for melee attacks have been made thanks to sword of crota mission and ofcourse the arc blade. So i assume that bungie already have the basic attack animations. The versions of melee weapons could perhaps be, energy swords, rocket propelled hammers and such. When swapping to your melee weapon you will also be pulled out to third person view just like arc blade. People might think that this might result in an easy way to look around corners leaving your avatar behind cover while turning the camera to look around a corner. This can still be performed with peaking out quickly, aswell as using any kind of emote that pulls you out from first person. And i doubt this will make the game unbalanced just because of that. :) Second point(balance). These weapons need to be balanced ofcourse, since u will be able to use these very frequently, just like shotguns/fusion/snipers. And they should atleast do as much dmg as melee in the crucible(2 hits = kill). And please dont think that this is overpowered, remember that the guardians rushing in with melee weapons will be incredibly vulnerable, cause its not like arc blade where you get bonus defense during the duration. But i still think with light attack(as referred to sword of crota mission) you do a short dash like arc blade. And a heavy attack that doesn't do bonus dmg but instead a small AOE. What i'd like to include here aswell is a parry button, perhaps by using the button that is used for ADS normally. This will bring up the "guard stance" that only allows you to protect yourself from melee(normal) and melee light attacks from weapons. But by using heavy strike against a blocking opponent will result in a stagger. I believe this will add depth to both the enjoyment of PVE and PVP. Even if its just a gimmick for PVP and not very reliable for competitive play, the pve players will undoubtedly enjoy having the possibility to slice up cabal, vex and fallen aswell...i know i would. Third point(Weapons statistics). Here im just going to clarify the difference between these weapons so different personalities will find their playstyle even when choosing melee weapons. As mentioned in the first point, having Energy sword can be a little faster with both heavy and light attacks, while hammers could be slower. This ofcourse has an impact on dmg, just like fusion rifles and shotguns. These melee weapons can ofcourse have different kinds of elemental properties just like any other weapon. Fourth point(Purposes). I know that there is alot of nay sayers around the globe, and perhaps they will say that this has no place in a game like this. But as bungie already proven it does, I figured why not? So these weapons are obviously meant for short distance to perhaps if lucky mid range, this is ofcourse just regarding PVP. in PVE we have the possibilities to easily sneak up close on our foes with blinks rushing from cover to cover, and we will actually have a chance against a fallen captain in melee by switching between blocking and doing light/heavy attacks.
