Salvage was one of the many events that will only be available through a certain amount of time. Since you accepted the bounty it stays in your inventory until you discard them(holding square). I do not expect for salvage to represent itself again but it may. My opinion is that it takes up space so instead of having more bounties completed at the same time you will have 2 less. You can try placing them in your vault.
