equip exotic gear in all slots
It would be a wise move of bungie to remove the stupid only 1 exotic weapon,armor piece rule.
Since it kinda works against a long an sustainable game.
When you have that exotic armor and weapon and the rest legendary what is the point in keep playing ??
To swap it out once in a while for another piece ???
If you make it so we can have exotic in all slots it would keep players acctually playing the game at a much much longer period of time then it does now when we only can use 2 pieces of exotic at any given time.

9 RepliesWhy does everyone think they know what's best? You said that having all legendary and an exotic is boring because there would be nothing to do. But using your logic, having all exotic would be the exact same thing only with better gear. Another prime example of I want what I want, and I want it now. This is exactly the reason developers seldom take suggestions from the gamer, because of atrocities like this. It's perfectly fine the way it is now. They aren't going to listen to you, I wanted to know your woes will go unheard, and you won't impact a future decision in the slightest. Your conceit and selfishness gets in the way of clear thinking.

At some point the levels may get too difficult to the point where you need to be higher than lvl 30. Certain combos I could see as non game breaking, like the crest of alpha lupi (allows you to spawn teammates faster) and helm of inmost light (gives you two abilities). The other titan chest however, couple that with another exotic piece and then I could see it being game breaking.

3 RepliesThe raid gear is essentially exotic gear, just ranked legendary. The only person currently to reach level 30 in Destiny (highest level as of right now) has one exotic helmet and the rest is legendary. The exotic gear maybe cool and I'd love to be able to wear my sunbreakers and some other exotic gear as armor, but it's all about balance.

3 RepliesAs far as PVE goes, I see no problem with this. You earned the gear (maybe?) you should be able to stomp AI enemies into dust! PVP... Not so much. Keep the 1 and 1 restriction, lest you invoke the wrath of the Nerf Bat catering to all the complaints of those getting smoked by incredibly geared (due to bonuses for class skills and weapon upgrades, excluding damage upgrades cuz those obviously don't factor) God-Players.

Disagree, that would be too OP for pve & PvP. It would get boring fast if all you had to do was walk into a room and watch everybody die in 10 sec. (Metaphorically speaking)

I have a Titan with 2 different exotic armor pieces I have zero problem with only wearing one at a time, this system keeps balance in the Pvp games and it doesn't ruin the longevity of the game at all, get new exotic armor or weapons, use them for the hours and hours it takes to fully upgrade them and then you finally have an item that's truly exotic. They shouldn't be catering to the tiny percentage of people who have been lucky enough to get somehow get enough exotics to fill up their whole inventory. Legendary items are extremely powerful as well they just have less dynamic perks. There are too many people whining about an imbalanced game already

My two exotics Hard Light and Helm of Innermost Light really does give me an incredible advantage in PvP. With all of the Exotic pieces that balance would be broken severely. Look at -all- exotic pieces and what they do. They got pretty powerful skills.

No thanks. they only have 3 bonus skills but they lack the 3 stats instead only have 2. So its a trade off between skill options or stat options on one piece of gear. Its a nice balance at this time.

4 RepliesThey may allow us 2 pieces of exotic armor once cap reaches 30 then 3 once 40 and on going. Remember this is early stages who knows what this game would be like in a years time.
