@Alpha-Players: about the Spidertank....
Hello Community,
as I played through the alpha, there were many times when my fireteam didn't get it, that you can shoot that Spidertank into bits and peaces.
All of them would only go straight for the legs, then it's neck. Didn't anyone else notice that you can shoot the laserbomb-cannon off of it? (not the big one, the blue 4 shot homing one!) - It just made the fight SO MUCH EASIER. Also were there several other bodyparts you could damage and reduce the effectiveness, like the backside or the mouth-gatling.
Any experience with other weakpoints from other enemies?

€dit: It's great how responsive you all are. Thanks! And for those who wonder what I mean by Spidertank: it's the Devil Walker. Bungie called it Spidertank at a time and it surely looks like one, so cheers!

6 RepliesI used a sniper rifle, and by fluke I think I blew one of the leg panels off in one shot. Did like 5k damage. So there are specific spots on the leg panels that can do that as well. I shot the back / underside of the panel at an odd angle and there it went, BOOM! My fire team were like. "Dude, wat?"
