Am I The Only One Sick Of Having To Ditch Badass Looking Armor And Weapons For New Ones With Higher Stats That Look Stupid?

Let's face it, when it comes to armor and weapons most players are going to go with whatever protects them the best, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't have a choice what their armor and weapons looks like. I can't tell you how many times I've come across a set of armor or a gun that I really liked but how to eventually move on to a different set because I needed better protection or to deal more damage. And yes, while the game does give you the CHANCE to find the same armor and weapons you already have with higher stats, it just doesn't happen frequently enough for you to feel like you're in control of your gaming experience. I think it would be great if in one of the upcoming dlcs or patches Bungie would add a store in the tower that would allow us to combine the look/style of one item with the stats of another. And when I say items, I'm mainly talking about armor and weapons, but while we're on the subject, why not find a way to make it work for consumables, and Sparrows, and Ships as well??? This would give players more control over their abilities to customize their guardians and give the game a better feeling of diversity and make the gameplay a lot more enjoyable. Here's an example of one game that did this very well to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about in case I haven't explained myself very well. http://youtu.be/Qb8-G-aGS4I Hopefully you guys at Bungie read this and take it into consideration. Thank you!
