I feel like my friends and I may be the only ones enjoying this game. I love playing in the crucible. Really enjoying the gameplay as well. This game has a better story than any other FPS I have played. I have had 1, yes 1, server problem since launch. My only suggestion I guess would be the amount of time archblade and gold gun lasts for hunters. Can't wait for more content, but I haven't even come close to completing everything. Lots of playability for me, but I also only play 2hrs a day. This game has exceeded my expectations, so keep it up. Curious if anyone else feels this way.

Now I REALLY enjoy the game but Idk how you have not even a single complaint lol

Best story you've ever played in an FPS? Dafuq? Have you never played Halo?
-
Low standards or you haven't played enough.

Best story in FPS? Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Spec Ops: The Line, Half Life, Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Espisode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, (even) Defiance, Max Payne 3, Crysis, Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Far Cry, Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 - the list goes on a lot longer - ALL HAVE MUCH BETTER STORIES IN JUST THEIR FIRST OPENING MOMENTS. I am glad you like the story, but IMHO its absolutely a HORRIBLE story - great potential in a rough draft conceptual outline sort of way, but really poor story telling. The technical issues have been huge for people and continue to be a major issue although its FINALLY seeming to subside. And the where is the big "revolutionary social experience never before seen on consoles" ? The highly restrictive voice chat, complete lack of grouping tools, blind matchmaking, complete lack of matchmaking outside of Crucible and Strikes is a HUGE oversight. The use of the D pad universally for social "skills" like dancing, pointing, waving and sitting on my butt even planet side where I would have expected a map to aid exploration (dead ghosts, chests, event locations, even setting a custom way point) is another really bad design decision. Missions and strikes and bosses are all the same (not ready for VoG yet so can't comment on raids) with waves of nasty adds and big bullet sponge mono ability boss at the end where you defend the DinkleBot while he hacks something else and spouts off information with no context. Decided lack of creativity and variety. Glad you are loving it, but this game is poorly designed in some critically functional ways. I too love the game play and like playing and don't mind grinding but this is by far NOT good FPS. Even Defiance for all of its faults told a better story (albeit with really weak to cringe worthy voice acting in most of it). The graphics, environments, vehicles, guns, character models... all of that is great and I love it. I just wish they shipped a 100% complete game and not a 50% complete game.

Better story than any other FPS??? How many have you played? Halo 1, 2, 3, and Reach all had better stories than Destiny's story (so far). I'm not even going to get stated on other devs/franchises (I lied, I will, Halo 4, Wolfenstein, Metro Redux, hell even CoD Ghosts had a memorable and engaging story). I'm not gonna lie, Destiny is game of the year hands down for sheer quality of the core gameplay alone, it's my favorite game this year, but this year has been a drought for good games too. That being said its main story was very lackluster and didn't have the amount of cinematics that a AAA game should, and it still is lacking some fundamental things like more chat, clan, and matchmaking options. Destiny has so much potential, I hope Bungie is able to deliver on it. It's true there are some seriously ridiculous complainers on here, but it's also true that even us who love Destiny have pointed out legitimate concerns and suggestions that could make Destiny better. It's Bungie's job to pick out the diamonds of ideas from this rough in the forum. I have faith they will deliver, but at the same time I'm frustrated by their lack of commutation back to the community. It felt like they were a lot quicker to answer concerns when Reach came out.

I do. Thanks for saying so. It's been great. A couple Internet connection hiccups but such is life

My only problem is when i come first in crucible with 10 more kills than the next guy but the last place guy gets the legendary engram

I've been enjoying it and yes I did have some server issues during the launch but otherwise I haven't had any problems. I know what you mean it just seems that everyone is just complaining about the game when it's been a lot of fun. But I think it's mainly the MMO players that are complaining. Which I can kinda of understand since the game is missing some standard MMO features like trade and other social functions. Still I love this game and I've been playing the hell out of it.

I want to make this clear. I am surprised at the number of bad reviews. That's all. I feel like I am playing a completely different game than what has been discribed in some of these reviews. No idea how that is. My only guess would be that I paid little attention to the hype, (because I never do) and some(not all) expected way more. Which happens in advertising I guess. I just read up on the game years ago and played the beta. It's just a more expansive FPS. I don't know we're mmorpg became expected. They have dabbled in it, but never had the intention of going full on mmorpg, and they won't.

The game is fine. All I hope is that Bungie gives some time before making changes and they don't listen to the crybabies that spend more time complaining then playing the game. If you guys despise it so much, go play something else...

It has some work that needs to be done, but the good vastly outweighs the bad and the bad can be fixed over time, so I really am not as worried about it as some people. Besides, it's the people that hate the game that are on the forums complaining about it. Anyone who actually likes it is too busy playing.

Aha I love it as well but I did have one complaint there was a spot I was in a battle with some fallen an I fell through the floor randomly an died I was 300 experience away from thst bounty that u need to get 9000 without dieing it sucked

Seriously.. if you're not part of the solution to the ACTUAL REAL PROBLEMS in this game.. YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. let the grown ups talk and try to figure out how to make the game a better place, instead of languishing in your own complacency and obvious superior mental outlook on life.

I think Destiny is okay. On the same note I dislike Call of duty, Black ops 2 was my last purchase from the series. Just did not want to play anymore, so I slipped quitely out the back door. 60 plus hours on Destiny , some co-op and a bit of competetive too. Mostly I played as a lone wolf and had fun. But yesterday I could not bring myself to play. Even now I feel that I'm moving away from it. I had no high expectations, having been a gamer since the early 80's, I have enough upstairs to realise that the only opinion that matters - when it comes to games - is my own. If I enjoy the game for a bit then I got value for money. If not, I simply look forward to other titles. So, Destiny is not bad but it may be some time before I take up the fight against the darkness again.

Good for u, FYI, this isn't significant enough to to post on the SUPPORT forum. I think the game is fine

It's all well and good telling Bungie what a fantastic game you and others might feel they have made, but what can they do with that? Nothing. You're happy with what you have got. Ideas and constructive criticism is what is going to improve on what they have so far. I'm sure in their opinion, they made the game the best it could be on release, otherwise they wouldn't have pushed it out too fast. (I know I said you a lot, but I'm not aiming this at 'you')

I like this game too, that's why I want them to make it better. My biggest complaint is the lack of character connection, I feel like my guy is just a gun , I don't feel like he's unique or anything. And I know why? It's not customization, it's not the story, it's the lack of choices. You have to admit that there are a lack of meaningful choices in this game. You don't make any decisions impact the game in any way.

I feel the same way.

I stand corrected. Clearly several others are enjoying this game. Lol.

Dude with no complaints except the complaint about complainers

Edited by Anterknee: 9/19/2014 12:16:47 PMI love it! All the people who love it are too busy playing it. The rest moan in here!

Edited by Vulper: 9/19/2014 11:31:08 AMThis is a great game, but this is also the feedback forum , where people come to voice their opinions on aspects of the game they things need adjusting :p (not to be confused with people bitching and saying they're quiting the game, it sucks, ect)

Ikr All I hear is Nerf the titan Nerf the warlock Nerf the hunter Nerf the super lol

Edited by Sylvestris: 9/19/2014 12:08:49 PMPlenty of others are enjoying the game but thinking about ways in which the game can be improved and expressing those ideas constructively, not all requests are complaining or indicative of not enjoying the game. And is the issue with hunter supers how long they last by default or how long they can be extended using higher level skills? I haven't progressed far enough to be able to keep them up perpetually, but it seems like they're active for too short of a time for me as things stand right now.

Agreed
