Destiny is planned to be a 10 year project, while borderlands is a one shot game. Maybe some SLC later. Maybe, but unlikely since they are developing battleborne for next gen. Destiny is a attempt from a company to create a online mmoshooter not a primarily single player adventure. Your better off comparing destiny with halo and giving them the benefit of the doubt since its their first shot in this sub genre. People should have avoided the hype train.
