I dont like it one bit you can get access to Exotics so easy. On my third day I got a Exotic arms from a Legendary Engram. Third day in the game.. My thought on this is that Exotics should only be earned by Raiding or hard PvP rewards. Getting it so easy from Engrams, Bounties and even buyable from a shop just doesnt seem right to me. We are talking about items that compared to other games would be concidered ENDGAME items and we run with them in the first week. I got a Exotic Shotgun from a bounty that didnt take a challenge at all. 2h after getting the bounty I welcomed my Shotty. And that was the second bounty I got, currently doing a Exotic bounty for a Fusion Rifle.
