PvP wise, the launch of Destiny was great -- it felt like Halos multiplayer... well, sort of. The weapons seemed balanced, the Supers were only a minor annoyance, and the special weapons--while abundant--weren't too abused. Now PvP is a complete mess. The games are plagued with fusion rifle users, shotgun campers, and snipers pitching a tent (that's not what I meant) up the back, making no effort to capture objectives. What makes it worse is that any time it seems like any resemblance of a skill-based fight will break out, it's immediately destroyed by an instant-kill Super or an abused ability, such as blink or the Titans' charge.
The maps, for the most part, are okay--no where near the standards of a Halo map, but good enough to make want--want--to keep playing. Other than that, I see no redeeming quality. Any shred, any modicum of a resemblance to Halo (or even any good multiplayer game in general) before now, was set on fire, stomped on, and declared "M.I.A"... much like the rest of the games content.
