Fix this, and the game will be like 50% better
First of all, this isnt a hate thread against Destiny, i really like it, but there a many things they HAVE TO change in my opinion.
[u][b]-MATCHMAKING FOR WEEKLY STRIKES[/b][/u]
Bungie left the matchmaking for weekly's out because they dont want us to play with randoms, but most of us havent got enough friends who are playing Destiny [b]so we are searching anyway RANDOM people on the forum[/b] to play the content [i](yeah i bought the game to have some content i can play)[/i] and [b]it works very well[/b].

Sometimes I feel very alone walking through the game.
[b]Its a complete online game[/b], so why we cant have a gamechat outside of a fireteam?
A textchat for the Tower would be useful too. Phantasy Star Universe did a good job on improving a text chat on console.

Right now the glimmer-cap stays at 25.000 glimmer, but the problem is that you can farm almost 25.000 on one weekend (hardcore player's on one day).
Tell me why every mob and BIG BOSS has nothing better to do as to drop glimmer? Most of us cant even pick up the glimmer because we reached the cap!

Please change the color of the legendary engrams if theres a 90% chance of getting blue and green crap.
There are much more things they could add, for example beards and a hairdresser, but then the list gets to long ;)

Matchmaking for weekly strikes in an absolute must, but I'm not holding my breath because Bungie is being needlessly stubborn about adding systems conducive to group forming to their game. Chat, same as my first point. Loot system. I don't mind the RNG nature, and they can't reward people who perform better more stuff, it's simply unfair to a casual player. The reward for being a better player is just being a better player, there is a scoreboard and KDR tracking obviously, as well as a higher likelyhood of being welcome to raiding, which seems to be off limits to the average player (a big mistake on Bungie's part that will bite them in the ass eventually, in my opinion). AFKing is a different story, but I don't think you get rewards for AFK, and you also get booted out. Glimmer cap should be removed. There's no trading in this game or any reason to try and stymie any economy inflation because there isn't one. I'd like to hear their reasoning for the cap. Bosses definitely need to drop loot. This is the biggest disappointment in the game for me currently. I understand you are rewarded on screen at the end of the strike with 1-2 items which I guess are the substitute for boss loot, but it feels bleh. Drops are much more fun so even if they removed the end screen rewards and placed them on the boss loot table I'd be at least slightly more happy, I think what really needs to happen is that the boss drops loot AND you get rewards at the end because currently strikes take [i]WAY[/i] longer than PvP matches and they give the same reward chance. Getting blues from legendary engrams is really annoying, especially if you are simply unlucky and go on long streaks. I am still excited when I loot a legendary engram but not as much as I should be. It should be a high chance of getting a legendary from a legendary engram with a moderate chance of getting a blue, NOT the other way around as it is now. More cosmetic stuff is always good. I enjoy fluff.

3 RepliesThe loot system in place is completely fair, literally in every sense of the term. Every single person is subject to the exact same odds of getting something through the RNG. I think you're confusing "entitled" and "fair"
