Seriously though, not all of us are. 80% are brats through and through. I'm seriously sick and tired of reading about people crying over the story and the lack of content. DO YOU NOT GET THE CONCEPT OF A 10 YEAR COMMITMENT? This game will have content flowing for a decade you morons. Quit bellyaching about not being able to do this or that. Crying because the story is 9 hours. This game's meat is in the social and end game. If its really that big a deal that you cant fathom the decade long gorge of awesomeness, trade your copy in and get animal crossing you idiots. There are plenty of people who would love to play and youre doing nothing but hogging bandwidth.

So we should wait a full 10 years before goving feedback on a game
-
People want 10 years of content crammed into one week. How is that unreasonable?
-
The series as a whole is a decade commitment, across three games. So this game will only last ~3 1/2 years.

Actually i feel this and below comments are wrong. As an old playstation and snes gamer when i paid for a game i expected 40+ hours of gameplay and most of the time i got more than that. Having a 10 year commitment means jack shit when they give me a game that can be beat in 10 hours and tell me to "wait for additional content" the coming months..and to rely on pvp and strikes until then. I had more diversity in Duke Nukem 3D Meltdown for my PSX. Add to that the "claims" they made about features and what you could do that they did not deliver on. You know what i remember? When a company didn't say anything about what the game would be...they didn't say "YOU CAN DO THIS AND THIS" and then you can't...they said nothing at all and released a game without any letdowns other than your own on enjoyment...they didn't say you can't have shit and not give it. I'm bitching about bungies claims on a game when they didn't deliver. And if you think you can excuse the lack of whatever with "additional content will come out" that is just you being a sucker to their claims. Back then i could get a game for half the price of destiny and play for over 100 hours and still replay the entire thing. And those games didn't even "claim" to be anything...
Yes, yes it will...but gamers paid 60+ for content now...not in 2 years, not 5 and not 10. Destiny is a "full product" game, not a "fundme" Project. I paid $60 for Skyrim...and I'm still amazed at what I'm finding in that game, hidden away. Tell me, please tell me...Destiny has the level of Depth Skyrim does. Seriously, Im only a lvl 17, I want someone to tell me this...cus I'm not hearing it. I'm hearing a massive grind fest past 20. Im completely objective, really I am, I haven't been past 20, I don't know what's there...only what I'm hearing. And so far I'm only hearing "Wait 10 years for the game that was envisioned or...has it only been a week?"

Go cry about it

You seem frustrated maybe you gotta poop?

IKR SOME OF THESE PEOPLE DONT WANT A CHALLENGE

Edited by XeXsuvus: 9/17/2014 12:57:36 AMI'm level 26 and have played actively since launch. I'm already starting to get bored, I have nothing but strikes and pvp to do. Once I complete the daily bounties the objectives are gone. I just feel like I'm already out if things to do. I've already got exotics, the strikes are repetitive and the crucible gets old.

I blame how new gamers are, remember when we had those Nintendo 64 games and old playstation? Not one complaint ....over the years gamers got more picky...games haven't changed...gamers have.
-
Edited by Tankbusta40: 9/17/2014 12:00:53 AMThe ten year plan includes other games as well... Not just this one... What don't you understand about that? We won't be using our same ps4 or xbone destiny from 2014 in ten years People are disappointed at their 60 bucks they spent not being all the hype bungie and Activision created
-
Only they released the game without any endgame and theres hardly any social aspect. Theres nothing to do for normal players, heroic strikes are loleasy and raids take to much effort.
-
Heard another company say they were laser focused on their game and had a 5 year plan. 1.5 years in them pull the plug having spent months holding out a branch of hope and selling valuable micro transaction items so they could use the funds to star development of a PC game using the same IP....... Forgive me if I am disinclined to believe in their 10 year plan.
-
What are these social features you speak of? I'm just curious.
-
Most of the decent endgame requires you to team up, some thing the majority of players won't do. I do agree with you though some people really are ungrateful.
-
Only the people on this forum, I don't classify them as destiny players, because all the people I play and talk with, like the new people I've met, they are all great
-
I know I'm stereotyping but I think it's the COD players that are the whiniest
-
In all honesty, this game has been a great tool to meet and play with new people. Everyone has the same grind...loot...grind...loot....finish the fight mentality and thats exactly what needs to happen. I have met and played with complete strangers for hours on end with no complaints at all. I know experiences will vary but still, i haven't found this level of pseudo comradery (spell check) anywhere else
-
Well thats 60 hours of campaign game play. Hell yeah.

Edited by TechnoKat: 9/16/2014 8:10:48 PMDon't get me wrong. The lack of story in-game does bother me to enough of an extent that when I'm giving a run-down of the game to someone I'll mention it, but I didn't buy the game for the story. Some of us just think that it's pretty damned stupid that a game that's been in development for somewhere around six years hardly tells you anything about itself compared to other games from this generation. I mean, the Grimiore is cool and all, but you see, Bungie threw around all this promise of having a game for everyone from Multiplayer enthusiasts to Story-invested PVE players. And all I'm seeing story-wise in the game is very brief once-overs as to why I'm being sent to the Moon, Venus and Mars. If I want more info I'd have to go out of my way to boot up my PC/Mobile to place together the bits of info given by the cards. It's not so much 'bitching and complaining' as it is disappointment and being let down. Of course, since the game is getting updated as we play, this has the potential to change. But as things are...

I blame Obama.

I agree man well said!!!

BOS Toki has played Destiny. BOS Toki is a brat. /thread
-
The problem is, the forum is full of children and children tend to be more bratty and spoiled (especially with the anonymity of the internet protecting them). Don't sweat it. Get back out there and kick ass in Destiny.
-
If feel bad for them growing up with such a watered down game that has an identity crisis. So glad I was able to play Halo in its prime growing up instead of this game.
-
Most of the complainers are people that have never played an mmo at all. This is foreign to them and its hilariously sad
