Bungie, please add a repair cost fee to gear and equipment. It is necessary to keep the top players down alongside with us, the Average Joe's, to level the playing field giving us all equal opportunity to achieve world's first to complete the raid as well as anything that requires competitiveness. Adding a repair cost to gear would get guardians to think about how they play the game. It'll enable guardians to think about repair costs before rushing into heavy situations, it'll allow guardians to take "breaks" from 6-24hr game sessions (because you know people like that exists especially twitch players who are trying very hard to not fall asleep and be the first to complete the raids), and I think it puts the economic aspect of paying the bills for things you want to do...we do have ways to receive plenty of glimmer so repair costs shouldn't be a problem. It gives guardians reasons to spend time farming glimmer and being efficient in how they die...or how they shouldn't die, because [u]I believe becoming a "legend" [b]shouldn't[/b] have high numbered death tolls behind that title.[/u] Make guardians pay for the bills of death. Their gear and equipment is their bread and butter so they should know to take care of it or pay for the upkeep to keep them striking and raiding. Comments?
