My concerns about Bladedancers viability in PvE

While Bladedancer is incredibly fun to play as, especially in PvP, there are a few concerns about the hunter subclass in terms of strikes and raids and general teamplay. The primary concern being light generation. With most supers, a kill of anything larger than the designated trashmob (dreg/vexdrone/thrall/psion) generates at least 1 orb of light for team usage. Killing something bigger, say..a Knight, would drop 2-3 orbs each depending on level difference. With ArcBlade, killing a knight of equal level drops only 1 orb. Does this make sense? Especially with the super in question being one of the slowest offensive supers. I'd also digress on pve damage, but alas, that would require a more reliable typing source than a phone keyboard. Does anybody else who actively Strikes find Bladedancers poor synergy material?
