This thread is solution focused and I am providing answers to a couple of limitations I have seen people complaining about. 1st) Finding a group. 2nd) Legendary armor. 3rd) Up your arsenal (Exotic weapons!) -First off, having trouble finding a raid group? I am on Xbox One Feel free to add me (GT: Leonhart) -Secondly! Are you having trouble getting to level 26? Me too. Struggling to get legendary armor? Same here. I grinded ALL WEEK LONG. I took four days off work and played for countless hours. I tried the stupid farming process that everyone is ranting/raving about and acquired 30 purple engrams (none of which became legendaries. I do not think this method is worth it, but to each their own!) I am stuck at level 24. This means I have a full set of level 20 blue armor that is upgraded, but I cannot progress until I have legendary armor. No need to be upset about the drop rates. We are not slaves to the rarity of legendaries! You can make it to level 26 without getting a SINGLE legendary drop. How?? Simple. Last week none of my awesome grinding and countless hours of gameplay went to waste. I acquired 100 Vanguard marks and 100 Crucible marks. This week the limit resets and I will have another 200. With 400 marks in total I will be BUYING myself a FULL set of legendary. The drop system preserves the length of the game, and I understand people are upset because their purple engram became a green item. However, you can make it to level 26 without relying on drops. Stay optimistic guardians!! -Finally third: Exotic weapons. I did not get a single legendary weapon last week either. But all of my marks are going towards my armor. Why? Because I NEED level 26 to even set foot into the Vault, you do not need weapons. But they would help I'm sure.... So! Best way I have found to get exotic weapons without relying on drops? Exotic bounties. Do all of the bounties you possibly can. Eventually you will get exotic bounties which guarantee an exotic weapon. I got two last week while turning in my vanguard/crucible bounties. I think if you do a certain amount from PvP/PvE then you can acquire one from both. Since I have been hashing out all five of each every chance I get, this resulted in me receiving two exotic bounties. Hang in there guardians! I know the struggle for good loot is real.
