PS exclusive gear?

I was told that the PS exclusive gear such as the vanguard armour, was located in the ps exclusive strike or the vanguard armoury, I have done the strike several times and checked the armoury but neither the weapons, ships or armour is there, I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight especially now since I'm level 24 with my current equipment?

All the exclusives are legendary or exotic. It'll take a lot of time to get. Just keep trudging.

I thought that the content was what the Vanguard merchant was selling. It's always level 10 gear, never changes.
