It would be really great if there was a map in the menu screen up there with character, inventory, ext that we could use r1 and l1 to get to. Navigating in the game would be a better experience I think with this option available.

I was just thinking about this yesterday, and I agree. As I was exploring I realized it would be nice to know where I'm going. If there's an area on a planet with no missions, I'd like to go explore it but it's uncertain how to get there without direct access to a map feature.
