ridiculous loot drop calculator
So i have noticed a reoccurring pattern specially in crucible..
Now i come first place in most of my games, i get the most kills i get the best k/d ratio i capture the most points yada yada i carry scrubs with 2 kills 14 deaths and win
Yet.. And this is my point about loot drops
The lvl 9 scrub who would have been more helpful... Hiding in a corner with his ghost trying to calm him down as he succumbs to some form of shell shock the guy whos at the bottom of the leaderboards.. You know this guy we've all had one on our team... Or many
Hes the guy that gets a legendary/rare drop/mote of light
Where as i ... I get stuff i could buy from that weapon vender who is at this point redundant.
Now i know loot is random at best but i see it happen game after game.. Its like bungie implemented a thanks for trying system..
Ohh you lost... Heres a legendary..
I just hope the iron banner gives rewards to those who earn them other wise whats the point...

See im that guy who suck. I don't spend my time in a corner though and haven't got any kind of really amazing anything from PvP. Maybe its like an "achievement" rewards that are getting the rare drops. I hope that people who play PvP arent the only ones who get the sweet ass shit. Id rather stivk to PvE only.

Yeah its true, and what's worse about it. Gear is not gonna make those players any better.

1 ReplyI agree with this. As someone who usually comes in first place on my team while carrying everyone in my backpack, I find myself getting barely anything good. I get the whole random loot thing, but there is no point in going try hard in this game if the kid on my team who went 9-17 gets an exotic sniper rifle because I got him a win, or the dude on the losing team who gets a legendary engram because he LOST. same game, believe it or not. I might as well go sit I'm a corner and text the whole game instead of trying to win. I would like at least a little something for being MVP every game.

4 RepliesNot like it matters. Firs there is no calculator, it's entirely random. Second, it's the Crucible, a gamemode that lasts a handful of minutes then deals out gear so obviously good gear should only pop up every 4-5 matches at least. Second, that level 9 kid who sucks at the game will most likely spend weeks leveling just to wear it and more weeks trying to farm the materials to upgrade it. So jokes on him for "earning" it.
