(Please note that this issue pertains to Bastion, but to a lesser degree.) First Light is now a joke, a pun to be told at the water cooler in the Tower. At its heart, First Light is a huge, a giant, a freaking gigantic map. What does a map like this best suited for? Why VEHICULAR COMBAT, of course!!! So how fun is it to drive around and duel each other in vehicles, you may ask. Well, let's see. The pike is still a great harbinger of death and the turrets are wonderful to lock down key areas.But this wouldn't be a "vehicular combat" map without heavy vehicles right? So yeah, what type of powerful destructive weapons of war do we get? We don't. We get notta, zip, an empty void. "But Rev, what about the Interceptor?" "The what?" "The Interceptor?" "What about it?" "Isn't it a heavy armored mortar tank?" "No." "...but..." "No. It's a glass cannon minus the cannon." To be blunt, the Interceptor has been nerfed to the point that it is so under-powered and unusable that even the level "6" don't go anywhere near it. Now you saying right now that I'm just complaining... and you would be if I hadn't seen player after player walk right on by without a second glance. Destiny needed a tank, SOMETHING to fear in the Crucible. But when I look at it, I just laugh. It destroys the feel of the map, without the Interceptors powerful mortar shots, people just camp on top of roofs without a care. First Light switched from a map I loved and adored to "the map where I dance on a sorry excuse for a tank until the match ends." I mean that literally. It saddens me to see poor judgement at work, but the way things look, I shouldn't be surprised. Thank you for your time, Adam A. Gessner P.S.
