Promised so much, and delivered very little.

I really hope they put that money to good use. This game promised so much and delivered very little. All of the story is found through in game unlockable Grimiores that can only be found on the internet. If I wanted to read a story, I'd read a book, story should be interwoven into the game like pinstripe in a fine suit, you know it's there, but it's what makes the suit, it's what gives it texture. The world (or worlds? and moon) is/are small. People keep saying it's "vast", it's not, maybe in scope, but the world feels smaller than half of Borderlands 1. In the E3 presentation, where they were fighting a boss, both players got weapon drops from the boss, that's not isolated, even to just bosses. Actually the same weapons that you can get from bosses can be dropped from any enemy in the game, outside of the Vanguard Marks (Vanguard marks, a.k.a. tokens, are a plus though), and to finish strike missions, there's little to no reason to farm bosses. Patrol missions only give experience, no gear or drops aside from what you get from killing enemies, just exp. Bounties. You can only take so many a day, which resets at 5am edt atm. If this was much more of an MMO, that would be fine, but this game is more like a single player game similar to Borderlands, so this time limitation is lame at its best. End game is just higher level versions of strikes, if it wasn't just that, that'd be fine, but that's all it is. Some of the class design choices are garbage too. The Titans shield subclass special gets me killed more than it helps when I'm not the player using it because you can't shoot through it and it doesn't stop enemies from coming into melee and hitting you through the shield. Hunter's subclass Bladedancer is only usable against trash mobs or one or two majors, it has no survivability so it gets you killed quickly, and the Gunslingers Golden gun only lasts for 3 shots and doesn't do nearly enough damage as it should for that limitation. And another lame class design choice, everything doesn't need to clear a check list. "Movement ability" check, "Super" check, "Melee ability" check, "Grenade" check! They don't need to be so symmetrical. The option is fine but how about give the subclasses more variation to the move set, like, Change Titans bubble shield to be another option to the grenade slot with a longer cool down than grenades and shorter duration and change the super to a wide wall that can be fired through one way, give it a finite amount of health, but also that it can't be walked through by the enemy. Give Warlock an option to replace their melee attack with a slow moving orb that deals damage around it along it's path with a slow cool down and moderate duration. Give Hunter a turret instead of grenades. These are just example, just give variation outside of the checklist. I think Bungie should have consulted with the people who developed Borderlands 1/2 and the people who developed Resistance 2, they clearly have little to no experience at making this sorta co-op game. P.S. - I LOVE that you still have skill progression past level 20, that's something that I always though games should have.
