Controller Lag
I've posted about this on the Sony forums already but… I'm having some really strange controller issues periodically while playing Destiny. At first I thought it was network lag but I've mostly ruled that out at this point (low ping, bandwidth is 20 over 4.)
The controller periodically stops responding and then rushes to catch up which results in many deaths. Anyone else having this issue?

Edited by MJ FAME: 8/21/2016 12:49:36 AMi play wired on both ps4 and xbox one..almost eveytime i join another fireteam of 3 or more players, my controls feel like they have an extra 200-400ms of latency and the deadzones feel "HUGE". forget about fine-aim when this happens because even the slightest nudges of the (default) right analog stick will cause me to overshoot my target.. it is extremely frustrating and has resulted in me resorting to playing solo almost 100% of the time.. Guardians, this should not be. (FYI : I'm not confusing this with 'aim-assist' so, please, just don't.)

I'm having huge issues with latency or something. It's ridiculous. It feels like the left-right look is "sticky" & auto-aim or something is going on & off. So basically, when trying to hit target my aim is being tugged at from time to time away from enemies. Please, will you look into this, Bungie? I only noticed it myself this evening after downloading the small 12/8 patch & after receiving a centipede error.

1 Replysame here. getting laggy inputs, and wandering target reticles. had sniper equiped today and took at least a full 1.5 -2 seconds for the gun to fire. also got stuck moving forwards. had this for a few days. since friday when they were doing work on the servers after 2.01. Don't recall any issues before 2.01

I have the same issue but on the Xbone! When Destiny was first released my controllers (all 3 of them) would randomly disconnect in-game. The problem went away, but just today, after the latest update, the controllers started disconnecting again. Coincidence?

I am getting this exact same problem with my Destiny. It started about a week and a half ago. Around when I bought a 2nd controller. Now my original controller reacts the same as you describe... I chalked it up to it died. But I bought a 3rd controller and now experience these same issues on 2 out of 3 controllers. And always the same 2!

Yea, I get this from time to time and I sit less than 2 meters away from my PS4. No obstructions and it randomly happens. It's very annoying and it has only happened on Destiny. It's not the controller because I recently bought a new one and it does it with that one as well. So is it the game or is it the PS4? Plasma TV? I don't know.

Hi there. I started to have this problem yesterday while raiding. I usually play with my headset connected to Dualshock 4 and yesteday when theh problem occurred I disconnected it and the lag seems gone. It seems something related to lack of bluetooth signal strength or something. I'm about 2/3 meters from my console. Did you manage to find a resolution? Best regards

Same damn thing is happening to me. I just bought a ps4 Monday and I'm having the same problem. It seems to happen more often when I'm in a fireteam (non matchmaking) and my controller light turns orange everytime. I hope this gets fixed
