Gettin' a bit peeved, Bungie...

So it's now Friday, the 4th day of the game's release, and I still am not able to get a solid connection to the game. The best I get is a shaky connection with so much lag that I can barley play the game or have fun with it. I've been trying to work with my university's IT department, but they've all but gone silent on me and I honestly don't think they're going to do anything else at this point. The last update we got from Bungie was more than a day ago, saying that they were working on it, without giving any time frame or ETA on any update or patch. Listen, I get it: it's launch, things are gonna go a bit wrong, errors are gonna happen, I get that. But the more I look at the forums, the more I see how SO many people are getting error code after error code and can't even get into the game at all. It's been 4 days and none of these problems have been fixed, leaving people in universities and beyond shit out of luck if they really wanted to spend some time this weekend playing this game. These all seem like errors that should've been predicted and tested and at least prepared for at launch, ESPECIALLY with an Alpha and an extensive Beta. Instead, a lot of us are just stuck in the dark at this point, wondering when we're going to actually get our $60+ worth of a game. I know you guys are working on a fix; I know you're doing what you can. All I ask is that you give us SOMETHING soon. I desperately want to enjoy the game I got to play in the Alpha and Beta and it makes me frustrated that I pretty much have a near-useless disk sitting in my PS4. I really do hope you guys release an update this weekend, because I'm starting to get just a little tired of all this waiting for someone to do something.

  • I feel your pain. I had some issues at first too. After some fiddling with my router things are better. What kind of network setup do you have? What have you already tried? For me putting the console in the "DMZ" helped. Others report that doesn't help.
