We are not ok with this Bungie.....

Seriously Bungie? Do we really have to go on a rant about how absurd this "Noah's ark of error codes" is? Clearly this is not just a university problem, yet we've only gotten ONE lousy message from you guys saying you even hear our complaint. We can't even get daily updates as to IF there will even be a fix? At least man up and acknowledge you guys messed up something, that's usually what most decent companies do....but alas, all we get from you is silence. THIS IS NOT OK. Sounds stupid that I have to put it all in caps right? It sure is. Almost as stupid as making your customers beg you to let them know if they will ever be able to play this game or not. Listen Bungie, we want to know two things: 1. Simply to know IF there will be a fix and, if so, a time table. Stop leaving us in the dark guys that's just disrespectful to your customers. Were willing to work with you guys but not if we don't know what going on! 2. If there will not be a fix, please outline how we can go about a full refund from you, as you surely cannot expect us to keep a game that has a game crashing error. Not allowing us to refund would surely be considered false advertisement, as there are no specifics on the box showing specific internet/router requirements. Come on guys, we need to hear something from you. Many of us are huge Halo fans, and sad to say the way this is being handled is making most of us lose our faith.

    • I was able to get it working... 99% of the time by deleting all my port forwardings and just setting up a DMZ and static IP for the xbox on my router.

            We had a better bug report forum and update page for Halo 4. Here I have to work through a maze of topics I could care less about. This forum format is less than useful.

            • Buenas queria saver si van hacer alguna actualizacion para solucionar los problemas del chat en ps3 porque juego con mis amigos y a dos de ellos no los puedo excuxar de ninguna manera ni ellos a mi pero con otros puedo ablar sin problema es la primera vez que me falla el chat ya que en los demas juegos me funciona con todo el mundo, pienso que el problema es del juego y espero que lo solucionen, e cambiado la nat a tipo 1 y sigo sin oir a los mismos en este juego.

              • I don't care how much they made on this game; no one gets paid enough to deal with people like you. You don't understand the problem, you aren't attempting to fix the problem (that you don't understand) nor are you attempting to provide any sort of information that could help these people fix this problem. Cry all you want; it'll take longer to fix if they have to deal with YOU PEOPLE.

                • This is literally the first game of its kind, on a new system, in a totally new ip. Bungie ran in to a significant problem and they're working tirelessly to fix it. Can you please be a little nicer and consider the fact that maybe the reason they haven't said much is that they'd rather work on it than just keep posting pointless messages that just make people puke on their keyboards in rage anyway? Go outside or something while they fix it. Hang out with your friends. Bungie isn't just going to let the problem go. They're doing everything they can to get it working. The reason they cite universities is because the VAST majority of complaints are coming from universities. Based on what Bungie had said, it seems it's mainly a router issue and Bungie is straight up calling router companies trying to fix it. Sit down, cool off, put the controller down. Do something else. It will get fixed. You badgering bungie is not going to make them work any faster.

                  • This is not only campuses and universities being affected. I am on my business uncapped network with a god damn expensive network setup sharing between a Samsung smart TV, 2 computers a server and obviously my PS4. F#%^ the latency and crap they talking about. They should openly admit that their servers are F#%^$^d and give us a ETA on when they planning to have this resolved. Fed up of these gaming giants ripping us off with prices and then getting away with shit like this

                  • I paid 60 bucks for this game and i think i should be able to enjoy something i own. Bungie, your team has had more than enough time to perfect the game so how come now, after all the freakin hype and promise of a great game, i get a useless game taking up space in my hard drive? Seriously if you guys cant fix this or give us real answers soon, i believe i wont be alone when i ask for my freakin money back. the game is great. Love it. Lvl 20 and smashing. But wtf is the point if i cant play!?! I hope instead of a lame apology you can just get the game asap. This is just sad. this is definitely the last game i buy from you guys if this is how you treat your customers.

                  • It's pretty clear there are widespread problems with this game and it has nothing to do with internet speeds or the router. I have checked everything that Bungie have asked in their help guide for these errors and my router was already setup perfectly fine. The game worked flawlessly for me in the beta and I played it a lot so why now would it be mine and a lot of other people's fault it's now not working? More and more people are coming across this problem I know. Some of my friends played the first few days perfectly fine and now they are finding themselves getting disconnected from games with the bee error. Fair enough Bungie need time to sort this out but I haven't seen one proper official statement regarding this. Just talk about the centipede/university problems but me and my friends are getting bee. This is a widespread problem and people like myself have paid a lot of money for this. Hell plenty of people bought their new console for this game. People posting in the thread saying "I have no problem" well great have fun and I hope it doesn't come and bite you in the ass at any point. Go enjoy your game but it's important for Bungie to know how many people are having problems now. This game being a new IP is no excuse at all. All we have heard is how this game has been made by the "team that brought you Halo" "the publishers that brought you Call Of Duty". I know one thing for sure Halo never gave anyone these type of problems and when it's released on XB1 on dedicated MS servers it will not be doing this sort of thing. Ditto Call Of Duty. Get it fixed or refund people it's as simple as that. No business can go on the way Bungie are right now. You can't sell a broken game to millions of people and pretty much ignore the complaints they are getting. They should have released an official press release to the media by now stating they realise there are numerous problems with the game. Truth is they are too scared to put anyone off buying it.

                  • I've never had a problem with the game no error code or crashes and none of my friends have to, so maybe try restarting your internet or get a new one.

                  • weird because I had no problems at all and non of my friends either, the only problem I have is that my character doesn't snow on my bungie account and I can't join friends clan but ig everything is smooth

                  • You know what the connection problem is? Its not bungie its YOU! Yes YOU! I Had problems too because I had a cheapass router that didn't work for shit. Its called go and buy a better router and make sure your ports are open. So what is bungie doing, they are probably playing around with how much time the server should wait before disconnecting people with crappy internet, which inturn creates more lag in the destiny world.... TBH as a result there will always be connection dropouts.... Just hopefully very few and far between. But seriously I bet if you were to plug your ethernet cord directly into your box you would get 0 disconnects. Your end is the issue and bungie is hard at work making their end more compatible with yours because your too stupid to see it.

                      I live in a Marine Corps barracks in Twentynine Palms. The cable lines here are shared throughout the base (that's roughly 2000 units) I have only dropped connection twice. It's hasn't even been a full week. Stop bitching children....this is a console mmo that had an ENORMOUS release. There are a lot of people connecting to the servers. Shit will get -blam!-ed up. Maybe instead of bitching about it, you could check your ports, filters, bandwidth allocation, DISCONNECT YOUR -blam!-ING PHONE FROM YOUR ROUTER. Maybe some of those thing will help. -blam!-ing scrubs

                      • Dear god, kids sure are entitled these days. All of your questions can be answered by a little common sense on your part. 1) Bungie has already stated they are working on a fix. You want a timetable? Have you ever had to give someone a timetable on a project when you weren't even sure what needs to be done? Not an easy thing to do. The game has only been out for 4 days. Battlefield 4 has been out for god knows how long now and that's still an unplayable mess. Bungie doesn't need you to "work with them", they have shown time and again that they are capable people who can think like adults, unlike most of the people complaining on these forums. I doubt they would want your help. 2) See above comment. Games only been out for a few days. Why not actually give them time to work on a fix instead of stomping your foot like a kid and demanding a refund, which you know you wouldn't get anyway.

                        • I agree 100%, I tried to play the whole day without success... Every 5 min I get kicked out by groundhog, coconut, ballon, zebra.. i lost count on how many error... this is sad, the game seemed nice.. I have a 30mb internet which is pretty stable and works perfectly with every other games ... tried 2 routers, open ports, stable ip, cable connection but nothing works... i hope i can get to play this one day... otherwise this is the last game i m buying from bungie... SAD BUNGIE!

I have unstable net that disconnects from time to time and i guess that sends a different IP address to bungie servers every time and this prompted them to think that I have been account sharing when I haven't. Now I think im banned... is there anyway i can revert the ban?? please help.
