Who Else is Loving Destiny?
From the PvP to the PvE Destiny has been a complete and utter success.....for me anyway. I have been thoroughly enjoying Destiny and I haven't even progressed past the moon, but I'm already level 12 from the addictive PvP! Well done Bungie!

Destiny has really opened up doors in regards to social gaming. Working together with random people, meeting new gamers, and connecting with old friends. I haven't used my mic this much since Vietnam! Thanks Bungie!

1 ReplyAddictive indeed! Absolutely loving the game! I think it's important to keep in mind that there's an audience bias here on the forums. A lot of the cynicism in the community is overrepresented because people like ourselves are too busy playing the game.

I have a lvl 28 hunter and lvl 24 titan and still enjoy the game a lot :)

I love it.. reminds me a lot of playing world of warcraft but it's much more fun.

Sometimes I just go on Patrol, find a high spot then sit and admire the view... and spy on fellow Guardians doing their thing. :)

We need more posts like this, I mean the amount of uninformed criticisms and general negativity going on is overwhelming... I, like you I'm enjoying this game immensely the world so so beautiful and rich if some would take a moment to actually embrace it but most importantly I've made an effort of playing it on my own pace with like minded friends. Most fun I've had in a long time.

I really enjoy this game too. I'm at level 10 and hadn't progressed much in the story but I find this game is made to be played your way.

Despite the faults, i do enjoy the game. Hopefully, bungie will be responsive to the issues and work quickly to resolve

I am enjoying Destiny immensely and I think that it all stems from the fact that I loved Phantasy Star Online. The last system I bought was a Dreamcast and the last time I logged into Sylverant was about a week ago. Destiny is a next-gen version of PSO and I feel that is a compliment. This coming from a person who has been playing on the same console for the past 15 years.... Destiny sold a PS4. The only other game that looks remotely good on the system right now would be Plants Versus Zombies Garden Warfare. My only concern is the lifespan of the system + game. 15 years of Dreamcast + fanran servers for online gaming versus how many years of Destiny? I know I am an outlier but I really feel these systems are an investment and I don't like jumping from game to game / system to system. If anyone from Bungie reads this - Good job on this game. You created something that really epitomizes what a next-gen version of PSO should be. The story, the characters, and the design are all very good and it is obvious you all took your time in creating something fun. The only real issue I have ran into is when a level 25 gets into my game and monsters become too hard to kill. I shot a level 8 creature with my rifle and couldn't break it's shield. Fired every bullet in my rifle plus used grenades and just could NOT kill some of the monsters. Perhaps I just don't know what I am doing yet but a simple "This creature can't be killed by you" or some kind of way to consider a monsters strength against your weapons/level would be nice.

Yep I love it. Exactly what I wanted it to be. Almost like borderlands with actual good shooting mechanics. (Don't get me wrong I like borderlands but it was never the tightest shooter) Haters gonna hate just wait for cod to come out then alot of these whiny b!tches will move on

I get killed to fast in pvp. Must be my lack of ability to memorize maps :( But i'm enjoying the questing by myself. I'm level 10 and don't have a clue about what the story line is :)
