"You must have an xbox 360 hard drive to play Destiny" on starting xbox 360 digital download - HELP!
After successful download twice today to an 20 GB Flash drive, on starting the game I get the message "You must have an xbox 360 hard drive to play Destiny"
I have a 4 GB hard drive and the 20 GB Flash which worked well perfectly well for other games.
Is this a correct error message? Why is Destiny unable to use the drive to which I downloaded the game?
The requirements for the game state: "6GB hard drive storage (or its equivalent) is required for Xbox 360"

13 RepliesThis is correct. You cannot run Destiny off of external flash drives/hard drives - regardless of storage space, it must be an officially supported hard drive from the console manufacturer.

I just spent $84 on an external hard drive and I can't return it thanks a lot destiny. It could've said something about that it has to be an XBOX hard drive.
