Anyone else only moderately excited?
Ok so don't bite my head off just yet. I played the alpha and the beta and absolutely loved both. The beta especially just really hooked me in. Every aspect of the game left me addicted and excited for the fill release. Now it's a week away and I'm only moderately excited. Why the hell am I like this? Maybe it's Cuz I've been playing diablo ultimate evil edition or infamous first light. Maybe it's Cuz school has started again for me (college). What are. You guys reading/watching to get you hyped for Destiny?

I had the same problem I was waiting for a fps, rpg, open world, mmo/shared world game like destiny for over 2 years now ever since the idea came in my mind. and now that is so close to launch I'm losing my hype. going through all trailers on YouTube and talking about it with my friends got me hyped a again

Mainly due to a cocktail of: -college -rewatching Kill la Kill [i](this on its own can crush pretty much any other source of hype)[/i] -wanting-to-but-not-getting-around-to watching Volume 2 of RWBY -not caring makes time go faster [i](would this qualify as voluntary hype-suppression?)[/i]

Actually I just discovered an upcoming game called no mans sky which I've illogically become extremely excited for, as I don't own a ps4 and it won't be out for another year at least my sudden hype shift is highly disconcerting

Yeah, the hype has kinda died for me. Still excited, but not pumped like I was after the alpha.

Once I saw how small these planets are going to be with no towns or ways to interact with other players in the open world my hype for this game went from 70% ( I'm really look forward to playing this) to 40% ( Game will be good till XXX game comes out)

I feel the same way, I think it's because it drops next week that it's easier to grasp and be more patient as the days wind down.
