I love Nintendo first party games (really wanting the new Super Smash Bros and Hyrule Warriors) but I also really miss playing halo and I would definitely pour tons of hours into MCC.
And just for the record I currently own PS4, 3DS, and PC.

Xbox doesn't exactly have much for the One right now, and you won't miss much by getting it second. From what I hear, most people with a Wii U and another 8th gen console are using the Wii U the most. Besides, you'll pay a whole lot less to get a Wii U and a few games than you would to get an X1, Live, and MCC.

Splatoon = Best FPS

Xbone, honestly the only good thing on wii u in my opinion is mario kart

I own a ps4, x1, wii u, 3DS and ps vita. In order of how much I play them is say: Ps4> x1> 3DS> ps vita> wii u. But hey to each their own.

Like other posts it's all dependent on which one has the most games you want/would play the most. Do you buy a lot of games a year or only a select few? Are those select few mostly going to be on wii u? Will those games keep me playing & the biggie to you play online a lot

Well right now there isn't enough software for the Xbox one to justify the price of the console, live, and a game or 2. The wii u has more exclusives, cheaper console, and free online. I basically bought a wii u and got my money's worth already. I'll end up getting the Xbox one this November, but the only reason is because I'm a huge fan of halo 2.

Which releases first, the XB1 games you want or the WiiU games you want?
Seriously, I don't know.
Xbox One. Wii U will probably get another price drop soon. Especially if sales don't pick up after Smash Bros.
-
Id say go wii u first. Save the Xbox one for halo 5. Probably a special xbox with it.
